This game can make me relive the glory days of UO. I haven't had that feeling in a game since the early days of EVE and Shadowbane and this game is one of the last to relive that glory. I am interested to see in how it feels transitioning through mobile>pc play. I am interested into the long-term commitment this game offers and hope the developers make good decisions and don't FUBAR this game completely.
I'm excited for Albion for mostly the same reasons I was excited for and thoroughly loved Archeage for in Alpha. The promise of adventure in a Sandbox MMORPG. Complete with housing, PvE, Trading, Crafting, the whole 9 yards. Now I hope Albion doesn't got the way of Archeage and screw it all up with a shoddy Cash Shop.
Albion was my home in DAOC and now we have a game just for us..... Not Midgard Online or Hibernia Online but Albion Online, we win!!. Oh... and i am a old UO player that loves crafting so maybe this game will bring back the joy of trading again. We'll see...
Can't wait to see what the housing is like in the game and also what the character customizations are. I've seen the trailer for it and the fact it's cross platform, is fantastic :)
Interesting game, it looks like a good alternative to UO.
I won't mind giving it a go.
I am actually tempted to buy it but I would like to try it before I spend money on it.
Albion Online seems to capture what I loved about Ultima Online back in the day.
I've tried plenty games over the years and nothing came close.
Even Richard Garriot's Shroud of the Avatar doesn't manage this and I was rather excited when it was announced (should have learned from Tabula Rasa).
Shards Online seems to go in the right direction, but it still has a long way to go.
Also the mobile features seems quite exciting.
It might be good way to binge just like one and a half decades ago; only this time with a tablet on a comfy couch and not a shoddy PC and slow modem in dark room ;).
I've been watching some Albion Online Twitch streams and it looks like a MMO I could really get into. I sure would like one of those Founder's Packs and find out for myself if this is truly the spiritual successor to Ultima Online.
I love isometric games. Albion has an amazing pvp system and I love the full loot system. It reminds me Ultima Online and Runescape Old School which 2 games that I love. On top of that it has a great crafting system. So yeah I'm very excited about Albion.
