Please!!! Add Dwarves as a player race

in Ultima X: Odyssey

Looked over the half dozen races for the new Ultima game and all seems pretty cool.  Of course there is an effeminate pansy-looking race (i.e., the Pixies), but you need that in a fantasy game to give it the right fantasy-world sort of feel ("Aiyee, I'm a powerful pansy little pixie and am going to cast a spell on you so you cannot move!" etc...). 

Still, I think the game would be cooler if a 7th race, that of Dwarves, were added.  Need to have the gruff, greedy, gold hoarders in the game.  I want to play an ale-swigging, swaggering dwarf with a big two-handed axe.

Are Dwarves a race that might be added?  Or do they just not fit into the Ultima world?

    It's not so much that dwarves don't fit, more that we can't add another race at this stage of development. I see the Phoda as sorta the gruff beer swilling race, and although they aren't greedy, Phoda's are never without their favorite axe!

    Pansy little Pixies huh? LOL I think you just set yourself up for some trouble if you decide to play UXO......Every Pixie guild will be hunting you down LOL just kidding

    I think phodas look fun..they came out with the male phoda info recently and i like it..

    i am actually glad that they have different races then other MMOs cause its makes it more unique..so many of the games all have dwarves, so i am glad this is different at the start

    Aye, agreed, get sick of the same old Human/Dwarf/Elf/etc race selection. Good to see some creativity.

    Dwarves are by far the coolest race ever.  I can't fathom any possible reason why the dev team didn't add them in as a possible playable race in addition to the others.  I mean I love the idea of playing as orcs, phoda, and gargoyles, and elves of course, but why not Dwarves?  I would hope that considering them for a possible expansion would be an idea?  As you've said that we could choose to change our main before we hit avatar.
