Player housing request

I realize that owning a ship is very much like having your own house in other MMO's. But I have a few questions for the PU.

In your ship, will you be able to store and display trophy's and awards? In other MMO's I used to keep rare hard to get unique items on the wall or in display cases. Like Elder Scrolls. How much can you customize the interior rooms of your ship to reflect you personality? Like if you want a Hippy Travelling bus look with Boheimian décor. Gypsies, Pirates or what ever you are into.

Also, planet side housing and warehouses. I think that would be neat if I had a permanent zipcode. Place to call home and relax, host parties, decorate and display my collectables. A place the government or villians will know you have to show up to someday lol

Also, guild halls, buildings, corporate headquarters and warehouses for your merchant ship empire. Any plans for any of this?

At first your hangar and rooms adjacent to it will act as player "housing". It already does - I have two dozen decor items in my hangar already. You will be able to have hangars in various landing zones. Inviting friends into your hangar should be possible in the near future - part of the Social module.

While it is planned that you can rearrange the interior of your ship, it would be a bad idea  to store something rare or unique there. Everything would be lost forever if the ship is lost.  Insurance wont replace it.

Longer term - in the Persistent Universe - it is planned that you can own property. Conquerable space stations at first have been mentioned. Buildings on planets later.

One thing that attracts the crafting players is the ability to own a store front at a base station in a starbase or a planet side station/city. So you can make a name for yourself and sell your crafted items.

Also, to build a merchant company/cooperation with warehouses , space docks and administration building/office.

I love this idea, I love the thought of walking around a station or a planet station to go to my ship and seeing an advertisement for a specialist in arms, armor or ship equipment. One of the things I feel is missed the most from gaming is the forced/pushed involvement of others to obtain better crafted gear. I would love to be out exploring and come across a planet and find a rare metal and contact my known crafter and alert him to my find and either extract it for him, protect his friends as they extract it for a new shiny AR, or ship parts.
