Trion Worlds has announced the start of the open beta for Devilian. In addition, fans of Devilian will want to check out the game's official site and the video below to see the Evoker class. The Evoker is all about crowd control, assault and burst damage.

    Will probably try out the game once it's fully released. I don't know why people bash it so hard. To me it looks like a decent game especially when there isn't that much of a choice in the genre. Still with the new PoE season and upcoming expansion I doubt that I'll spend much time on this game :)

    Or wait till the 10th when it officially launches on Steam or if you have the 2-day early access headstart the 8th and now founders packs are $19.99 and come with the corgi and the 2- day early access headstart and more. Regardless of how previous founders may feel Trion sure knows how to hook people.

    Not to sound cliche but Trion is a business after all and does need to make money to pay its employees for one and also make a profit on top of that, and being a few games like Archeage and Devilian are created by another company then that means those companies are getting a cut of the profit as well so i'm sure they not making fistfuls of cash.

    Archeage has even gotten better with its RnG and cash shop but you can always earn the credits to by items in their shop with in game gold or a lot of the time the items are sold by players in the Auction house so I feel people need to quit being cheap support the company if you would like to see the game come out or are enjoying it.(and of course if you can)

    I have enjoyed Devilian and I am not a big aarpg person as not really big on the top down view but this one has sorta opened my eyes a bit to them and not something I would play for hours on end at once but I will hope on now and then to play and who knows it may hook me even more. but to each his own.

    Iv just recently (past 6months) gotten into ARPG's like diablo 3 and torchlight 2 and having a blast. Iv also been a longtime MMO Fan starting with vanilla wow and pretty much trying every other copycat released thereafter. For what i enjoy in gaming ATM it really doesn't get any better than devillian for me. With that said the character creator is pretty much non-existent which is to be expected in a arpg . O well guess ill be forced to roll little girl weilding a huge bazzoka cannon thingy....

    You would prefer the female models to be overweight with small breasts? Just curious? Its really no different than hollywood when you think about it....

    Tried it out but didn't do much for me so I'll pass. Decided to give Drakensang a try and was pleasantly surprised. I find it to be more entertaining than Devilian. The only thing that I would spend money on would be bag space.

    You really playing drakensang? Good luck with identifying gears and upgrading them without spending money.

    It just looks so uninspiring. After the whole Trion thing, there is no way I will give this game a shot - especially with Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark on the horizon.

    You mean after the whole AA thing? Well AA and Devilian are 2 different game from game design to execution. But i know what you mean by uninspiring, frankly these diablo like games always look bland to me no matter how much they wanna sex it up.
    Also one thing i can tell about lineage eternal, if you hated AA for cash shop, you will hate lineage eternal too, been watching videos of beta testing in steparu and it doesn't seem like gonna make western players happy with the system they have in place.

    Devilian made me realize how awesome autorun is when applied to questing  (which I really hate in every game) - I did quests while actually ignoring all quest text and even npc locations - so again ingenious implementation, as I did the quests but ignored them at the same time.

    So yes autorun enables the true arpg experience where you just kill kill kill and can completely ignore the story, the quest text, quest npcs... and all that dull stuff which I dislike.
    You should have linked any song with title "kill me baby" at the end of your post :D.
