One of the most vociferous complaints in the last year or two in the World of Warcraft PvP community has been about how overpowered the human racial ability, Every Man for Himself, is and that as a result, human/Alliance imbalance in PvP has been strongly felt. The ability "removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character" and essentially gives humans an extra "get out of jail free" ability when paired with PvP trinkets offering the same.

So to "nerf" it they change it to a 30 second cooldown stun breaker that doesn't trigger the pvp trinket! lol nice. Humans can now break out of 4 stuns every two minutes instead of once every 2 minutes.
Well it would be "nerfed" if they hadn't made it way better than it used to be. EMFH was and is primarily used to break out of stuns. 100% agreement. Maybe it's just me, but it seems STRONGER, not the reverse. Honestly, racial abilities simply need to be removed from, at the very least, competitive PvP -- completely if I had my 'druthers.

completely removing is how PvP screws any flavor in MMO's. PvP is the scourge of a good MMORPG, It removes the RPG.

Expect them to add "and makes you immune to all damage for the duration of the fight" with how horrid they've been at balancing PvP since Mists of Pandaria and the PvE gear scandals they had.

Even when the had a new season to cover the fact they had no content and WoD was a year away (how does this sound familiar?) and upped the PvP gear to 550 you got one shot by warlocks. Then lo and behold, they added 10 item level upgrades for PvE gear which screwed with the balance even more when all was said and done.

The only way I think you can get good PvP in a PvE based game is to add 2 seperate systems, your character will have a completelly different set of abilities for PvP.
It would of coarse been better if the game were made with both playstyles from the start, that way you can intergrate them with far less issues (GW2 is made that way) but seperating the 2 playstyles with completelly different stats and abilities would probably be the right way here. In fact it is the easiest way in any game that uses tanks since tanks plays so differently in PvE and PvP.
If your class works differently in PvE and PvP there is no need to nerf the other type of gameplay so we wouldn't get there stupid nerfs to PvE because of PvP or the other way around.
