Looks interesting, getting more of a online survival/rpg vibe similar to ark, the division and destiny.

Survival games are the future of this genre. This one looks very good.

However many of them need more PVE

Rokh....name of a Caldari battleship in EVE....

Apparently Persian for a legendary bird of prey....

    Appropriate for the ship anyways.

I predict the big breakout title in the survival genre will be one that focuses more on getting players to band together to survive attacks by npcs, and greatly limits the pvp (aka mass slaughter) aspects.

Always had confidence with the people working in funcom , but their ambitious goals of game design and reality don't exactly work well together .

Looking back at TSW , started out as an extremely promising , brilliant and innovative MMO, eventually plagued by people who abused the gazillion amount of bugs and glitches ,which took them aeons to fix with their management busy with the layoffs , Police raiding and so on.

As the aftermath of countless game content delay , what is surprising is there are still people playing the game .

Let's hope this one turns out to be different.

Survival "games" are the future of humanity.

Ain't that the truth. Funcom has always had great concepts for games, but they always dropped the ball somewhere.

Anarchy Online - Buggy really troubled launch, dynamic missions weren't very . . . dynamic. Inspired design ideas, but ended up as boxy boring reality.

Age of Conan - We all know the tortage story, one of the best crafted starting areas in memory, with a sheer cliff of pathetic nothing afterwards. Combat was really good, classes were interesting, setting was great, story was poised to be excellent, but the poorly optimized launch coupled with lack of PvE content drove people away and it never recovered even if it's a better game now.

TSW - Great atmosphere, great story telling and interesting puzzle quests (as long as you don't "cheat") and a nice open skill wheel. But then they decided to take one of the main aspects of MMO's (the combat) and crap all over the animations and fluidity of interaction leaving players with clunky combat that turned people off. If it's something your players are going to do 90% of the time in game, it better be like butter.
