Strange days in gaming.

Things have been getting rather strange with gaming today. When I first got involved with gaming back in the Ultima days and then Ultima Online, opinions about games was respected and allowed. Sure we had arguments but they tended to be civil and even the best of friends could argue yet walk away still being friends. For some reasons today opinions are mostly met with attacks and instead of trying to calm those voices with moderation the threads are closed. People are being silenced with their opinions on a lot of threads because it may differ from others thoughts and opinions on games.
People are saying today's games are being released by copying what others game's have done and it is just the same old same old. Granted that can be taken as true but who want's to make a game where most gamer's would never think of playing with certain type's game play. For example permanent death where you need to start over with a new character. Of course it could work if talents or ability's that character earned could be transferred to the new character. But then in the pvp world that tends to get old very fast. Maybe one day someone will come along and make that work, we should have faith in that next new idea. Then we have corpse runs, personally I loved that in EQ and AC. Made it interesting and forced us to get into groups to get back to the corpse. I do hope that come's back in game's one day.
Lastly we get into the whole non released games and gamer's are shut down almost immediately in giving any type of opinion because it may hurt that games chances of becoming a reality. Called names and compared to others with a loud opinion on said game(s). Maybe moderation is needed for those threads but it needs to be fair on both sides.
I could go on and state more of my thoughts on this but I would love to hear in an non attacking way how other's think about this. Thanks for reading and taking all this with a grain of salt.

You are one negative poster and most of your threads are designed to elicit arguments and hate.
You've been banned from the ESO forums, and warned here on MMORPG.com (from your own posts about these). This doesn't happen because of normal behavior.
My honest opinion (and this is meant as genuine advice - not an attack) is that you need to take a step back and find something about gaming you like besides trolling other players in game forums.
Find something you enjoy and post about it so maybe others can share in it or learn about it. What game are you enjoying? The games and the discussion of them haven't changed. People still play and talk about them for fun. Maybe you lost it somewhere along the way.
