One of the games that EU/NA players are most looking forward to playing as 2016 looms on the horizon is Black Desert Online. Today is a big day for fans as it marks the commencement of the first round of closed beta testing. The Black Desert CBT is now live and lucky holders of keys can now log in and try it out for themselves.

    Lugubriously gutted I missed out on a key for this game! It looks superb and strictly cannot wait to play it!

    Playing it and enjoying it a lot. Game has so many mechanics hidden that 2 weeks of CBT is too short to even start to see the top of that (mechanics) iceberg!

    Tried it, loved it! Sadly my pc just cant handle this game properly. Hopefully ill have a new rig ready by the time the game releases.

    Not lucky enough to get a beta key, but I will buy the mid tier founders pack which is reasonably priced.

    I wonder if the EU verson will even be playable in smaller countries. For the beta signup i got a straightforward "your country is restricted from accessing our service"

    Would be a shame to miss out on this game just because of an ignorant publisher.

    only 5 classes will be available at launch out of the 9 they show on their website. also, not a single dedicated healing class.....lame. i love pure healing classes. the game looks very pretty, but they have overdone the spell effects (especially the black ink splotches).

    There are two tick boxes, one to shut off distant player effects and one to shut off player effects.

    I didn't really have a chance to do much other than make two characters and sign in so I haven't tested them but they are there for people to take advantage of.

    Because "yeah" there are too many spell effects.

    Pretty but little substance, it will be a ghost town within 6 months.
