    Have always loved Star Trek, for the ever expanding thought that we can be ever so much more, dare, even be ready to step beyond our own planet, ready to see what is beyond our own little planet. Between the books, and, movies, I entered STO as a lifer, and always wanting to play the newest content provided, and, hoping, newer better stories are around the corner.

    I love getting lost in the world of Star Trek which was such a huge part of growing up for me.  There was one time during the week when I knew the whole family would be in one place.  That was Saturday night at 7 to watch the next generation.

    Star trek online has the best space combat of any mmo, and a decent variety of ships for somewhat different playstyles. Only thing lacking is the ground combat, not as fun as space. Still a mmo i play to this day.

    TBH its the first and only Star Trek Game I was ever able to get into. Also probably the only life time sub I don't regret buying.

    I Love STO for giving us a chance to fly all the ships we grew up with and love from the shows, and being able to experience it all with our friends.

    I actually didn't think I would like the game based on initial reviews. Once I played it I had a lot of fun. I like it because I can play it casually.

    You want me to beg and drool for a free Ship? Nope. STO is to me quite enjoyable and I do play it, but I won't grovel.

    I've been part of some fun communities there and met a lot of people like me, who are so excited for more Star Trek stories, that we write our own! Star Trek Online is the perfect place to live in that Space.

    Love playing it, love the customization of the star ships as well as the uniform my admiral wears. Been watching star trek just about all my life with my father when the next generation came on tv. Love playing mmo's in general but STO lets me pilot my own star ship. I have all star trek, unfortunately some are on VHS and I don't have a working vcr anymore, working on getting them on dvd or blu ray.

    If JJ's Trek annoys you, play some Star Trek Online instead! Cryptic has made the best use of Trek IP in recent years, and their expansion to the prime Trek universe story and episodic content are very well done, even using cameos from the pool of Trek alumni. The Space combat is also brilliantly fun!
