Early estimate put it at somewhere near 600+ Alexander Normal completions, requiring doing each floor of Alexander about 150 times at minimum. This is the "measurement" simply because it's the most "efficient" and "measurable" level of the sheer amount of grinding required.
Oh yeah, don't forget the 16 HQ crafted items you need from Master Crafters with the specific Specialties that have the items. That's gonna cost a lot, especially depending on your server economy/population.
It's unfortunate, because the amount of grinding old content required will likely mean you will spend more time grinding for the weapon than you'll actually get to use it effectively. Much more powerful weapons will be available in 3.2, given they are following the same exact patter of 2.0 (an exact copy-and-paste, especially with this relic quest), which means this weapon will lose it's usefulness relatively soon.
Sorry, this is a terrible excuse for "content". Yoshi-p literally stated that he regretted Atmas from the 2.0 Relic, and promised not to introduce them again. Whats the first thing that happens with the 3.0 Relic? Atmas followed by a ridiculous grind.
At least 2.0 Relics included a really amazing story and their own, unique encounters specifically designed for them. 3.0 relics are just a copy-and-paste (LITERALLY) of the WORST portion of the 2.0 relics; they include no story, no cohesiveness, and only reuse old content that people are already tired of doing.
No thanks.
I decline.
(EDIT: Oh yeah, don't forget, this was "pushed back" from 3.0 and then from 3.1. Why? It literally introduced ZERO new content. The real reason? We all know the answer. They wanted to stretch content out as much as possible to keep people subscribed. I would be singing a completely different song if the weapon actually changed how your class performed or added a new avenue of game play/rotation change by adding actual ability benefits or special effects; however, SE opted to continue the BORING iLvl treadmill. The (finished) new relic is essentially +1 Weapon Damage for most classes, is a downgrade for several, and is nothing more than a slightly-better stat-stick for SOME classes.)
On a positive note, I have 5 of each of the 4 items needed, Unidentifiable Bone x5, Unidentifiable Shell x5, Unidentifiable Ore x5, and Unidentifiable Seeds x5. I also have all 4 crafts too, Adamantite Francesca HQ x4, Titanium Alloy Mirror HQ x4, Dispelling Arrow HQ x4, and Kingcake HQ x4.
Pretty easy. A little bit of a grind but, hell, even a monkey could do this. I am also enjoying the new content, Christmas event, Scholastic, etc.
