How would you rate the movie?

All time classic  MY NEW FAVORITE POST!  (Keep laying those bricks)

    I give it 4 stars.  Better by far than the prequels but certainly not as good as Episodes 4 and 5.  I have to sit on it and watch it again but I think it's probably a bit behind Return of the Jedi as well.

    Still a good movie.. really good.   Just some things with the story kind of bothered me.  And JJ moves the camera around too much... like always.

    Saw it last night, loved it but as always, doesn't live up to the originals. I think my preferences (from best to worst) are as follows:

    • Return of the Jedi
    • A New Hope
    • Revenge of the Sith
    • The Force Awakens
    • Empire Strikes Back
    • The Phantom Menace
    • Attack of the Clones

    It was a tough call between empire and the force awakens. I know most fans rate Empire as the best SW film, but I've always found it quite boring once hoth has finished. Force Awakens is a solid movie start to finish, which is why it gets the edge.

    I was disappointed with the main story.  I was hoping for something more original compared to what we got.  The villians were poor and I disliked how certain characters used the force (have to avoid spoilers) but it was still better than the first two prequels.  I give it 3 out of 5.
