Will my usb stick for my logitech keyboard, mouse work in the g930's wireless receiver?

I just got this idea, dunno if it works. I've been getting a lot of lag with my wireless keyboard and mouse with the usb stick pluged directly into the computer. So I thought maybe if I plug it into the round reciever that came with the Logitech g930's and place that away from my computer. Perhaps that would help with the lag?

I have the computer right next to my AV rack intergraded into our home theater, so a lot of other electronic devices near it. They way the wires are stup its impossible to move the computer to a different location.

Does anyone know if that even works with other devices? I rarely ever use the wireless headset anyways anymore. I just use my HT speakers for audio now.

If this doesn't work guss i'll need to get a wired keyboard and mouse that has a cord pretty long.. like over 10 feet. Is that possible as well?

It should work. The closer the receiver is to the keyboard/mouse, the better the connection and less chance of interference. I had a similar problem at work until I used the receiver adapter.

Alternatively find a Bluetooth solution which seems to work much better (well for work/regular use anyway), for gaming I'd go wired.

It might help somewhat but I am not sure that it will be enough. There are plenty of extension usb cables for mouses and keyboards that should do the trick.

I don't like cordless keyboards myself (I run a Corsait K70), for a mouse it is better but if I can get one with cord I still prefer that.
