    Far easier to find a reason to bash a game than to find a reason to praise it... it's the same reason why it's more popular to cheat one's way to the top than to actually earn it.

    It's like what Kano said: At some point it will just be a list with the names of all released games on it and nothing else.

    In my view, not different from people who rant here all day about:
    - missclassification of MMOs
    - lack of FFA pvp
    - lack of death penalty
    - lack of community 

    .... take your pick. And don't tell me you don't know that people are repeating the same thing again, again, and again here, abate sometimes with a bit of new data.

    I've seen some truly horrible games that either never went past beta, or died soon after release, though a rare few of those piles of excrement dragged on for years. (A few of them may still be 'alive' now, but I'm not going to go check.) Although virtually everything people have listed have something or another wrong with them, some of which I truly hate, not a single one of those comes anywhere near the WORST mmo. 
    I'm not exactly sure how you want to apply "mainstream" to this, but obviously the OP intended some kind of filter with that word. 

    Well, either way, it's time to order the cheese and crackers because the whinefest is in full swing now. :lol:

    Archeage NA. So much ruined potential, went from a possible first to absolute worst in my book. There may be worse games out there, but none of them had the foundation to be great to begin with...Archeage did. Close 2nd is WoW, only because it was responsible for the eventual decline in the quality of the genre. Yea some people like the new crap but I think the genre has evolved from what made it great....thanks to WoW.
