As we bring 2015 to a close, it's always entertaining to look back at the year that was and what news items resonated with our readers. These items are the most trafficked, not necessarily the biggest, stories of the year, but sometimes sheer numbers are telling as well.

Now here's news that cannot be manipulated or "spun", lol

It would be really interesting to see how these events compared with the Top 5 of last year, or even with each other.

Not in actual clicks, but in a percentage-based comparison.

To be honest, as someone who plays ArcheAge, I'm not sure if I believe anything the Trion staff say regarding it. They totally messed up on translating the Christmas event and people had to be compensated since it was a regrade event. Also their daily tracking calendar that gives rewards seems to be bugged (I've missed two days even though I had logged on and my chance to get 21 login points unless customer service responds to me and gives me back my two days), and other issues plague the game.

I like the game, but as someone who has put some money into it and is a patron, I will say I wouldn't want to play the game as a F2P player. It definitely is not friendly to those who don't get out their card and swipe.

I got my 21 day bonus, no problem. And also playing as f2p and agree that it is very unfriendly for f2p. I wish they would add a different tier for players, this category would allow non sub to regen 5 LP when offline and allow them to place farms, no house, just farms. players who should be eligible for this category :

    1. former AA sub
    2. players who spend money on any other trion games
    3. players who consumed at least 1 APEX

i think this would bring them a lot more active players and make the community more vibrant.

This goes by most-clicked, as in most visited articles. Derek stuff was on there, and perhaps we'll release an expanded list soon.  :)

And not a single non-mmo story among them. Didn't see that coming.

Chris owes Derek a lot of money for raising awareness of his game.IMO since SC is or has been nowhere near a marketable product yet ,so to think it has garnered so much attention undeserving is attributed to Derek.

Apex dupe the number one attention seeker, geesus what does that say about the entire genre ?Funny though he makes a statement about it only being about 6 players globally that intentionally duped, hmm pretty fast work,we have to remember that the nexxt time we wait for customer support emails 2-3-4 weeks later then get the ring around for another 2-3-4 weeks.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

There was no dupe bug, what Hartsman said was accurate, it was a credit exploit which was fixed the same day.

Eh, no offense man, but you're not a biased party at all. You're like the biggest fanboy on this site for ArcheAge, and this is coming from someone who actually enjoys the game and wishes the company that runs the NA version weren't so crappy.

Interesting article. You should include a graph or percentages. Love stats.
