Looking for new mmorpg!

I'm looking for an mmorpg that has a similar feel to wow in terms of open world ganking.  Like stranglethorn vale pvp or something.

    The closest thing to WoW with open world pvp is probably Rift. Tera also has open world pvp and has very nice action combat. I think Aion & Linage 2 have open world pvp too but I never could get into them.

    Tera has a safe zone every 10 seconds away, plus it's hard to find anyone in the open world with everyone spending their time in instances. Rift is faction based (so not really open world pvp) with instances. Aion is faction based, and you have to travel to the opposite faction world to get some pvp.
    This guy said what i would had. There is no good choice atm. And whatever you choose ,will prolly be underpopulated, so you will wait for long so that someone comes your way.

    Maybe we will have more luck this year with some titles.

    Isn't WoW faction based, OP asked for a game similar to WoW.

    Also you are wrong about tera and aion. Tera has some very big maps it can be easy to get caught very far from a safe zone, In aion there are maps in the middle that are factionless.

    Everquest 2 is faction based and very similar to WoW.
