Hm i hope they are more fancy than the enemys in WoW: More variation in enemys, not only different skins.^^ And it loos more antique than it and thats what is nice about it.^^
Fun thing to note, the engine Mythic is using for Warhammer Online will be an updated version of the DAoC graphics engine. If it looks like WoW, then you can then say WoW looks like DAoC... though it actually doesn't.
The game looks a lot like the 5th edition Warhammer models more than the 6th edition, with the 6th edition having more of a darker feel to it. I'm very eager to see how the rest of the races look, since Orcs and Dwarves look pretty standard thoughout most games.
Wethever if the pictures looks like WoW or not, they looks Warhammer-ish to me enough to be satisfied.
They seems to be heading more for the slightly more colorful style of the tabletop game than the darker and gritty style of the Warhammer Fantasy Role Playing art.
The tabletop game has always been the "big brother" of course as it has way more popularity than the RPG, which only a few know and play regularly.
So the graphic style seems pretty nice to me, especially, that big badass ork IS pretty scary.
thanks for the pictures by the way

They have stated that many other lands will have this darker look, and you never really know if PC Gamer has lightened the screenshots at all so that they appear better in print.
What they have shown us are pictures of where Orcs and Dwarves usually travel outside, and those races arn't known for a very dark feel. I would expect to see lands like Naggorath to have that darker side to it.
Looks "nothing" like WoW... are you blind? I understand the whole "Warhammer was here first and WoW stole from Warhammer" but it looks amazingly like WoW.

I like it.
It doesn't remind me of WoW neither, it reminds me of warhammer tabletop models.

I'm surprised at how it looks. I figured they would go for the darker look, like DoW.
