Can we delete prior expansions/versions?

Hey everyone :)

As you all probably know, when you get to Darkness Falls, you have three icons on your desktop for DAoC (SI, ToA and DF).  I read somewhere that you can safely delete the other versions and keep the latest without affecting the game or content.  Is this true?  I'm wondering if I can simply go into the control panel and add/remove SI and ToA to free up some disk space?

Thanks for any help!

Yeah, Dark Age is really wierd when it comes to this. The truth is, you don't need a prior installation of DAoC. Just the latest CD (which should be Catacombs).

What is on your computer is 3 Totally seperate versions of dark age. I found this out a lonnnng time ago when I lost the origional CD and tried to just install shrouded isles. I hope that helped, I just woke up and may be a little confusing.

Yeah, as long as you don't want to use them then can definitely delete them. Some people use an older client when RvRing for example, like the ToA client to cut down on lag.

Just to be certain before I do something I might regret.  Is it also safe to delete Catacombs if I have Darkness Rising installed?

Yup, as long as you're not using the Cata client for anything (which wouldn't make much sense anyway, Cata and DR use the same engine).

delete everything, just keep catacombs or DR. I just have DR

Guild Wars - Rorick Aurlith E/Mo pumped up with the best armor and weapon, has all his skills, and runes. PvP King!

Dark Age of Camelot - Leaton 50 Vampiir - Lamorak - Guild: Magic and Mayhem!

I think this issue should be added to the sticky FAQ. Pretty useful info :)

a question for you guy's. can i copy the ToA folder from one computer, burn it to and cd/dvd and "paste" it into the 2nd comp where i run my BB ? i have DR/cata whit all the expansion's on one comp. But i had to reformat my 2nd comp. and downloading the whole thing again takes ages for me. (dont have the CD)

This prob wont work because of some registry thingy but thought i might ask anyway.

When i download i only get a download client. that is about 700kb. which in turn downloads and install's the whole game. I would prefer to get it on a CD for later install's and my 2nd comp whitout having to download the whole thing each time.

i only have ToA enabled on my BB account. and all the expansions on my main account for now. And the ToA downloader is about 1,4GB + updates. i dont have a really fast line and would like to make it simple for future installs.

Sorry if this sounds a bitt wierd. :)

Actually I think it should work... I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly it should work fine. :)
