There may be spoilers in the article beyond this paragraph, so reader beware! It’s been a few months now since Fallout 4 came, conquered, and sold a bajillion copies across multiple platforms. There is a Season Pass for DLC, but as of this writing… we still don’t know anything about what that downloadable content will contain. Here then are some of our best guesses and wishes for just what will be in Fallout 4’s first DLC pack.

    1. Better Build Options and linkage for settlements, as Bill suggested.

    2. Expand the map, add vehicle options, especially in the underwater areas.

    3. More Vaults with more story expanding on the corrupt uses the vaults were employed to do, with new and interesting people to engage with.

    4. More customization and upgrade options in armor and weapons to include colors, emblems, ammo options (Hollow Point, Armor Piercing) and Power Suit attachments.

    5. Ability to set patrol areas form settlements that allow for scavenging and keeping raiders clear in an area. They need to loot what they kill and return what they find. But they also need to be able to be killed making the population of your settlements dynamic and needed to be monitored.

    6. Display racks for weapons and armor and general items to put your favorite pieces on display that you can lock down and prevent from accidentally being picked back up, or at least similiar to the magazine racks and bobblehead displays.

    7. Ability to add tags to the map, not just a single marker.

There are so many more but that enough for now LOL

Heh, very true. I'm already playing the game with some of the things on these lists because of mods.

They're probably gonna do something with children of the atom who are crazy and awfully suspicious.

But I'd be happy either seeing more aliens or anywhere outside the USA.

I hope so. I thought those guys were the most interesting thing in the game. When I first went to the Crater of Atom and saw them surviving, and not just surviving but not turning into Ghouls because of being "Blessed" b Atom, I was like, "Okay! I gotta find out more!" Only to be disappointed when there was nothing else to discover.

The endings were good? The endings were the worst part! There was no sense of permanence, no effect from your actions. It reminded me of Skyrim's super simple main quest, except after that was done there was stuff left to do.

Better settlement building, managing, and options.
More locations and especially more explorable buildings, when I first entered Concord I got excited thinking of all the buildings and houses I could explore and loot only to find out that of 40 or 50 buildings you can only go inside maybe 5 of them, I don't expect to be able to go in every single one, but at least half would be nice.
Some underwater locations would be nice too, a shipwreck, a vault, something. I scoured every inch of water and found nothing of interest.

They need to revamp buying and selling for sure, so annoying to navigate your entire inventory. Would like to see alot more weapon types and melee sneak more useful at low levels. Maybe make it so enemies with 1 STR can't stagger you with gun bash at 11 STR. Melee in general was poorly designed in F4. Sadly it's only good in survival since a sledgehammer has infinite ammo :p

It will be underwater themed for sure. Modders findings and rumors coupled with official leaks and vague dev comments , even deleted ones especially all point to underwater. Hopefully it's a combo of land based and water not just submerged ala bioshock 1&2 style. Maybe, hopefully, a more open polluted ocean scape with subs and boats and downed planes etc. With a bit of story and even puzzles (somewhat), to redeem the lack of both those key features in 4 that were present and even hard focal points in prior fallouts. Bermuda Triangle rather than another plain old cult colony or even Atlantis vibe hopefully since a majority of the game has bioshock (especially infinite) feel all over it already...
