The Blade & Soul site has been updated with a terrific new launch guide to get players ready to roll when servers go live for Founders on January 15th and for the wider public the next week. Founders will also be able to reserve character names beginning Monday, January 11th and through January 15th.

Most mmo's are repetitive, that's logic
Most games (if not all) have some form of repetition.
If you are waiting around for the "next big thing", thats going to last another decade like MMOs of old, you are wasting your time. Chances are theres never going to be another game like that. If you get 3 months, its a decent game. If you get 6, its a great game. If you get over a year, you probably missed the wagon somewhere, because most other players will have moved on by now :P
I'll still be on the lookout for price drops on Black Desert and I'll grab it if that happens in the meantime, but I'm the kind of player that doesn't want to spend box price while dealing with a cash shop also. I prefer one or the other.
The character textures look really bad. It has that shiny plastic look like Cabal or Swtor.
Well...... I'm not sure if you know this or not but there is a slider to adjust the amount of shine for skin and the lips......

I see this game being hot for a few months then fade away just like most of the new games that have come out in the past couple of years. Its just a feeling.
yeah its nothing special , the combat is good , but repetitive as hell....
It's called combos or rotations of skills...... I kind of think all MMORGPs have a rotaion to get the best DPS
I'll give it a blast when it launches but I'm not expecting a decent amount of longevity out of it after trying it in one of the closed beta weekends, but it's always nice to experience a MMO when it first launches.
I think a lot of people that may feel like you are going to be pleasantly surprised. I know I was.
You know this is going to be 1 of 2 best games out until other AAA releases, just need to enjoy them for what they are, GAMES, all this stupid debating on them is a waste of time.
well said!
Looks pretty, works well, very decent MMO.
