I see this game being hot for a few months then fade away just like most of the new games that have come out in the past couple of years. Its just a feeling.

Yeah, but at least I heard it's free. Not even worth buying Founder's Packs anymore imo. Too many failures.

I played in all the closed beta weekends and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Is it the best game ever made? No not by a long shot but I still see myself having a good 6 months of fun with it.

You know this is going to be 1 of 2 best games out until other AAA releases, just need to enjoy them for what they are, GAMES, all this stupid debating on them is a waste of time.

Most mmo's are repetitive, that's logic

Most games (if not all) have some form of repetition.

Yea, its same old, same old. But thats not necessarily a bad thing here. Just like when Cabal 2 and EoS came out. Sure they are the same thing we have seen for years, and already dated by the time they launch here in NA, but who cares. They are still fun. Play it until the next thing comes out. They are free, any money you spend in them, P2W or not, is on you. Theres no reason not to just tool around in it for a couple months until the next thing launches (probably Black Desert at this point).

If you are waiting around for the "next big thing", thats going to last another decade like MMOs of old, you are wasting your time. Chances are theres never going to be another game like that. If you get 3 months, its a decent game. If you get 6, its a great game. If you get over a year, you probably missed the wagon somewhere, because most other players will have moved on by now :P

After trying the beta weekends for both this game and Black Desert, I'm going with Blade and Soul as my hold over title till the crowdfunded projects like Camelot Unchained, and Crowfall release. It doesn't have ships and giant sea creatures, but the combat is just too fun not to play around with for a few months while I wait.  The graphics aren't bad either, if you don't mind the anime stuff.

I'll still be on the lookout for price drops on Black Desert and I'll grab it if that happens in the meantime, but I'm the kind of player that doesn't want to spend box price while dealing with a cash shop also. I prefer one or the other.

The character textures look really bad. It has that shiny plastic look like Cabal or Swtor.

Well...... I'm not sure if you know this or not but there is a slider to adjust the amount of shine for skin and the lips......

It's called combos or rotations of skills...... I kind of think all MMORGPs have a rotaion to get the best DPS

I'll give it a blast when it launches but I'm not expecting a decent amount of longevity out of it after trying it in one of the closed beta weekends, but it's always nice to experience a MMO when it first launches.

Best action combat in a MMO so far, combo system is really great. I play it just fir fighting, quests and all that are the same than in every other MMO.

Looks pretty, works well, very decent MMO.
