EU server..? Kidding right?

Skelth, our EUROPEAN Lineage II Classic server, run by Innova who's known for keeping their server free or rmt and botting and enforces the EULA. Well, none of it at all! This 'European server' is a ******* joke (and I was afraid it would happen).
This server is TOTALLY NOT an European server, and it's far from the legit server Innova was hoping to achieve. The 'top clans' are all Russian who're either botting 24/7 OR sharing accounts. Both not according to EULA, but since Innova is a Russian company nothing much is done. Heck, alll those 'top clans' took the 1st and 2nd waves of clanhalls easily (10M/20M adena each - how on earth did they do that?) and they're also level 4 or 5 clans as well (you need 1K proofs for level 4 and 10K for level 5, not even mentioning the amount of SP needed).
Along with these 'top clans' and bottings comes an other problem - real money trading (RMT). In every town you see more 'players' yelling for one or an other rmt site than I've seen on the NCWest servers - chat is pretty much unreadeble because of all those rmt yells IMG Not ot mention the amount of PMs I get, even on characters that have just entered the server (how do they know those toons?) advertising for the rmt/powerleveling service along with a 'sorry for spam' in it IMG I report each & every one of those RMT names I come across, and all that's done is a chat ban on those toons and they're flagged for later ban (why not immediately?)

And these cheaters know nothing much is done and are becoming bolder and bolder. Just look at the shop I've marked on the image above. WTF? $30 for a top-D weapon and advertising like it in the open? Luckily this dude has been 'imprisoned' and looses all his stuff while waiting for the ban, but still - this is only the tip of the iceberg...
Russian 'top clans' that are already level 4/5 and have people in their ranks that are level 55 already? It's just impossible to get your character at this level with the XP curve L2Classic has if you're playing legit. One of our clannies is close to level 40 and he's playing already 8-10 hours a day, having a pretty easy class to level. SO how on earth can thse Russian clans have level 55 players in their midst, other than botting/account sharing?
One thing is clear for me. When the 3 months are over, I'm not gonne resub to this mess. Like I started, NCWest servers are even 'cleaner' than this one, and those are already a fest of botters and cheaters...

    Each time I see a L2 thread it's about the amount of cheating, botting and rmt.
    Next step is some whiteknights joining the thread to tell you that you are exagerating.

    Maybe I forgot my geography lessons, or perhaps it wasn't correct here in the US school system, but I was taught that parts of Russia are indeed considered to be part of the European sub-continent?

    Should you have followed the stream of the mentioned level 55 party from the very start, then you would know that it is possible, and the amount of hours and team coordination those guys did is unbelievable.

    Also, you all wanted classic L2, you got it, this server is a PERFECT example of L2 at its prime: bots, rmt and everything else.

    I pitty the people that had hope to see something "more perfect". Innova is not mismanaging the server. They are doing the same as everyone before them, not more not less, get over it.

    Yup, all the way to the Ural mountains, if my memory serves me.

    I have to agree, reading the OP brought back all of memories of L2 launch except it was Chinese / Koreans instead of Russians as the villians.

    I miss L2 pre-c4, but I don't have the time like I used to! 

    OP, I think most is right. They might play insane, as I also used to lol :D

    Why would you think that? There was botting and cheating at the very start of L2 and that was subscription.

    Geographically part of Russia (White Russia that is) indeed is Europe, but Innova made a list for which EU countries this server was means and Russia was not part of it (because Innova also maintains Russias L2Classic servers).

    I know these lv55+ characters are not botted. Instead they're sharing accounts, which is not allowed either...

    So the real problem is that you pre-ordered 6 months of membership instead of buying 1 month to scout out the direction of the game and decide if you want to stay.

    All is well if you remove the Russian botters/RMTers from the server. Okay there will be some botting & RMT but not as bad as it is now...

    Lineage 2 is still alive? geez...and and I was here thinking the game was dead.
    Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. And the more you know Insanity, is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. But I can tell you that only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

    I am having fun in the EU Classic so far, but the OP is right. While I have not seen any bots (I am not really looking for them), the amount of RMT spam is incredible.
    Not looking for them either, but I bump into them all the time...


    On this spot 4 more bots were foung of which 2 were in Moon armor. These same 2 I've seen when I was leveling my WS/SE combo there about 2 weeks ago and were in the nooby armor that the 2 in the above video have.

    For the recored there is only 1 true Lineage 2 and its run by NC Soft.  B)

    As to your question of why not immediately ban them, that's easy. It's so a human can check it over to make sure another lowlife isn't just griefing somebody with instabans for giggles.

    Not saying its right or anything, but the newness of the server brings these kinds of things. Innova may just be overwhelmed with the amount of rmt spammers. They do have a better track record compared to ncwest, we will have to see how this turns out.

    and lol to ncwest being the true L2. Zaken opened and 1 week later they give boxes for cash that contain boss weps.

    Just like bots none of that matters. 

    Lineage 2 is what it is and like one poster has already said,

    "If the game has all of this and you dont like it then just dont play it."

    Not trying to bump a dead thread but honestly I've been playing the innova classic server and it feels like L2 did back in the day. I played in C1-C6 and recently tried the new stuff (didn't like it much). It had all of this. The entire time. I remember getting hacked the third day I played and I never gave out any information as far as I remember, and logging into the game to my bastard sword being gone and some guy whispering me telling me he stole it. I saw bots everywhere all the time. It's how the game was, and always will be, simply because it's too easy to program a bot for a point and click game, and very hard to tell unless the GM goes to every single person getting reported. 

    As for the server itself, I'm playing it from the US and it has little to no ping issues, and it's very populated and fun for me. May be rose tinted glasses, but it's what I've been wanting to play for a long time, since L2 changed, and I'm glad it's here, bots and all. The clan drama and pvp is fun.
