Ubisoft had its hand forced earlier today when an Italian version of a new trailer for Tom Clancy's The Division was leaked. The trailer features great gameplay footage and some story elements that shine a light on the journey that agents will face as they work through the game. The Division is slated for release on March 8th.

Too many of these games have over promised and under delivered in the past few years.
I'm trying really hard to get hyped for this game, but the gameplay looks so generic.. I'm on the fence about pre ordering this.

I hear ya.
I'm expecting a nice romp & that's about it. Fun with some pals. I keep my expectations low as a general rule to have a chance at a pleasant surprise rather than the disappointment that normally slides in once mechanics are mastered.
My ppl always have fun, tho. Sometimes the worse the game is the more fun we have. Seriously, we're a strange bunch.

Plus, they misspelled Strength at 1:55 of the video LOL!

I played in the alpha this past december on xbox one. let me tell you. It's worth it. The game has so much potential the only complaint I had is all the enemies were exactly the same and after a while it just became way too easy. Could chalk it up to it being alpha idk. The only thing I can compare it to is if Watchdogs was actually a good game and tried to do their best GTA Online impression but without the stealing cars part. Just shooting and looting. As I said, lots of potential here, map is actually the size of NYC so it's a huge playground. 95% of buildings can be entered and cleared and most of them look different. Apartments, stores etc.. you can find gear, weapons just laying around or some civilians will give them to you if you help them.. again lots of potential just hope for smarter AI.

The Alpha was amazing, not perfect, but dang good.

Let's party like it is 1863!
Still if it can deliver even half of what it set out to do. It will be a fun game.

After having been in the Alpha i can tell you i am pre ordering with no regrets. It was absolutely a blast to play this and while there was some issues i had with it i had an overall blast. The Dark Zone was especially awesome with how tense it was.

Aerowyn's Video Compilation of ALL things Guild Wars 2
Plenty of great camera angles, slo-mo shots and loads of action.
Playing the actual game will be a completely different experience of course. It will be less Michael Bay movie and more Battlefield or CoD.
I'll bet the main question in everyone's minds is the same as mine: "Will it last more than a month ?"
1)I hated what Destiny promised and became. I will not play an instance only game with a Hub. how similar is the Division to that?
2) can you play by yourself or do you need a team and if so is it easy to pick one up?
3) are theyre crazy amounts of loading screens like fallout 4? seems like half my time is a loading screen
for the people that played in alpha. I have a few questions.

The division reddit has lots of answers. You can easily play the game solo. Every mission that can be coop has matchmaking. I also found it easy to just invite random folks and start an impromptu group. Each mission also can be done on "hard" mode for increased rewards and challenge. The only place you'll freely run into people not in your group are social hubs and the dark zone (dark zone is fairly large, it's open PVP with PVE and offers awesome loot).
There is only 1 loading screen, which is when you first log in to your character, everything is perfectly seamless, it's amazing.

I don't get that from the few videos and info I've seen so far looks state of the art & different from other 3rd person shooters. I try just about everything so I'm hyped. Totally agree with you with the false promises with other titles yet I still remain hopeful.
