If you were to tell me that there’s an upcoming golf game that’s part PGA Tour, part Mario Golf, and all MMORPG, I’d probably look at you funny. Yet, that’s exactly the theme of Winning Putt: combining accurate golf mechanics with larger-than-life abilities and all of the features that you’d expect from a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game.

    Is this browser based? I tried to check it out, clicked "game start" (pretty much the only thing in English) and it was asking to install a plugin.

    Shot Online has been doing this for years. It might not be as nice looking but it's the same gameplay if that's what you're looking for.

    Huh. I have limited experience with golf games that I have somewhat enjoyed. I may be able to get behind something like this though. I will check it out, maybe it will make it on one of my Let's plays

    reminds me of an old series of sports based rpgs for turbografx-16 (aka pcengine). i wish i remembered the names but i played the heck out of them when i was but a wee skull.

    there was a tennis one, a golf one and an auto racing one. tennis one was my fav

    Lol that would be hilarious. Golfing and you make a hole and just when the ball drops in a raid boss pops up.

    I once told a friend to shoot me if I ever bought a fishing RPG.  Golfing?     I don't know.

    Its more mmorpg than some games. You have stats, skills, 2 classes, level ups, gear, enchants, lucky boxes, and you often play with others.
