Ranch Rush is my favorite of the many farm-themed games where you run around growing and harvesting crops.
Artist Colony is my favorite worker-placement game, and there's an archeology-themed game by the same company using the same engine, though I've forgotten the name.
The Timebuilders series is a good example of the type of city-building game where you don't get to pick where to place your buildings, but instead each map is a puzzle where you have to do things efficiently enough to get the goals done before the timer.
The Cake Mania series is another game where you are running back and forth trying to achieve goals quickly and efficiently.
