I am getting a little hyped for the Division, this could be ill-advised but I am. Here is the question, what MMOs are out there that has some fun gunplay? Or at least a class that uses guns?
The Division is more like Destiny than any traditional mmo. Its not really classed based like that. I played in the alpha for xbox 1 this past dec, and its a very loot driven shooter. The closest game that comes to mind is destiny. When you kill enemies you get loot that drops.. in the dark zone that loot has to be extracted out the zone but while you are doing that, there are other teams that can kill you and take your hard earned extraction. It is online only though.

Give Firefall a try as well. There's also Global Agenda, which is a bit older.
And of course Planetside 2.

The last time I scratched that itch with an mmorpg it was Hellgate: London. Understandably, it made me gunshy.
