It was only matter of time, he was using his position in bioware to make political statement on Twitter way too much and not only that he was also "on board" with the idea that games have to be "politically correct". I don't think someone like him should be in game industry, i don't play a game to deal with "PC" bullshit.

Is what you are saying not rhetoric?
If a game is not politically correct,a left wing gamist ideal then you have PC BS as you say.
There is an aged term called morals, they should never differ just because it is a game or even your own living room, your morals and the way you carry yourself, deliver your ideals should always remain moral.

Reason is VERY simple, weather you understand it or not,you always end up changing or ruining someone else's life be it emotionally, physically, your own kids ,your friends etc etc.
In a game it is far worse because you are reaching out to MANY people including kids, that is why we actually  have SOME ,VERY few intelligent people in government that make laws to protect against immoral acts be it anywhere in life, including gaming.

Usually gaming it is a simple procedure, "rated pegi 18" because they are too lazy to dig deeper into more complete laws. They figure as adults people can think for themselves, make wise decisions, but we all know that is not even close to being true no matter the age.

Did this guy or was he receiving mentally challenging obstacles in the work place because of the way he carried himself?Well sadly it is possible but also would have allowed him a VERY big lawsuit if he so desired. However a political statement is not acceptable pretty much anywhere, but being politically correct is expected and not the same thing.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

No idea who this is, but he worked on Kotor so wish him the best. I don't waste my time on twitter so I could care less what he says there. The decline of Bioware continues.

Sometimes, while I might not agree with an agenda, I recognize the necessity of an agenda to be represented. While I don't identify with a plight, I see how the plight being identified helps a number of people with their identities, and identities are important. No one likes running around all the time feeling "bad" or like they are "bad", when indeed it's most likely they simply are as they are.

This is a talented person, and I hope he's able to find a place he can continue to communicate his message.

Does this mean I won't be funneled into choosing between a party member leaving me or a forced homosexual relationships?

This is the only reason his name sounded familiar to me. It's pretty indicative of the times when an artist of all people speaks out in favor of the restriction of speech simply because he doesn't like what some people have to say. Disagreement is one thing. Actively campaigning to stamp out all opposing views for the sake of political correctness to keep your precious feelings from being hurt is quite another.

Anyway, if he's the one responsible for the horrible story of Dragon Age 2, or the completely bungled finale of the Mass Effect trilogy, then I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

I have yet to "complete" a Bioware product without dying from boredom in the middle through it. Xenogears, Suikoden 1 & 2, Secret of Evermore, Illusion of Gaia and FFVIII are some writers he can learn a lot from.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Bioware, I can at least accept that they have the best writers in the industry. I don't know where you've pulled those games out from, but they just can't compare on any level.

Saying they have the best writers in the industry is purely a matter of opinion.  I happen to disagree with that opinion as well and find the majority of their stories to be somewhat cliched or at the very least predictable.  That's my opinion.

As far as gaming companies, hollywood, public schools or whoever else abusing their platform to propagate an agenda or morality of some sort I feel it should never happen.  If that is what happened in this particular case then I would be glad and hope other companies would carefully consider that in their vetting processes.

What?!!!! This is... Wow... The most serious blow to company after doctor's departure :( Horrible news. His characters (gey or not) were the best. He was the most talkative with community. He was as much part of BioWare as it's founders. Sad news indeed :(
