I just started a new game and am probably going to leave that game. Might try a new game or jump back to a game I used to play. I am also playing a few SP games, so who knows.
Poll needs more options because I am never bored.
“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
just started on the new l2 classic server thought its nice to play a tough lvling game again but somehow .. meh + even if the servers are located in germany there are only russian gamers and the mods himself run a goldbuyer site while they ofc say that they wont alow such things

DL'ed Blade&Soul last night and logged in tonight. First reaction: I've played this game before. Linear questing, check. Sparkling objects to highlight quest items, check. Yellow marker on the map to show destination, check.
Given up i DL'ed Everquest (never played that before). Graphics didn't bother me as much as UI, which made me quit in 5 mins.
The only MMO i still play is vanilla WoW (don't ask any details), but even that is getting boring in lack of alternatives.
I am having a blast in all the games I am currently playing (WildStar, The Secret World, and now Blade and Soul). I just came back to playing MMORPGs after a long break, though, and I am playing a bunch of other kinds of games as well.

Been playing Champions Online. New content is fun. Nice that they are kind of giving freeform slot deals lately so everyone can see how fun the real game is. The only reason to sub.is because of freeform play. They even gave the slot away for free awhile ago. The best character creation out there. Tried B&S and found the combat fun for awhile but just can't get past the weapon upgrade/loot bidding systems in that game and i'm not the only one. Seems the loot bidding is already being exploited from the gold buyers from what i'm hearing. Game seems to be gold farmers dream.
The only MMO I really ever log into at all is ESO. I put maybe 5-10 hours a month into that. When I'm bored I occasionally pop in and run a few quests in that.
It just doesn't have alot of appeal beyond casual pop-ins. It's one of those games where "something is missing". But, it's fun when I'm in the mood to do some single-player type questing.
Blade&Soul doesn't interest me at all. I'm not too into that theme, and the game just sounds fairly generic beyond that.
I'll probably try Black Desert when it launches. That'll probably be the next game I try. I think the combat looks like some horrible arcade game, but exploring the big, beautiful world would be fun for a month or two... probably.

So, I'm not the only one who went back and plays it recently? Yep, that FF slot giveaway was awesome, just like the Grav Bike at the anniversary (and the AT unlocks, but for those you had to play / grind the events). Still not getting the same amount of attention as STO or Neverwinter, but compared to the previous years there's a clear change with update frequency and fixes. It's a good thing to see they finally give some support to their oldest game
(but for the record, I voted red more like for my main games, CO is just my 2nd level one. But it sure is fun. I agree with narius in this matter, why would you bother playing a game if it's not fun anymore? That's the whole point of playing, the fun.)

While I agree with the "why would you play a game you don't like?", a lot of people who responded to the poll said that they're playing an MMORPG that they're not happy with.
Playing Perfect World International (PWI) still O.o , because I am already invested in it (both in money and time) and to chit chat with friends. The game itself though, power creeped to the hilt, p2w to the hilt, and daily "quests" to the hilt. I would not suggest it for anyone at this point of it's existence, unless you are willing to throw at least a few thousand of real $$$'s in order to compete in it's territory (guild vs guild) and nation wars (4 servers vs each other). If you are not into PvP at all and would plan to play truly f2p, you might (I stress "might") enjoy the PvE, but I find the PvE mostly boring solo crap.
I would still be playing Vanguard if it did not shut down . I would gladly pay $50 a month without a second thought, if Vanguard were brought back online, even without any characters to go back to that I already made.
Looking forward to Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen and Saga of Lucimia releasing (~end of 2017 into -18?). One if not both of them sound to be promising.
I've been playing the SWGEmu lately. It's fun to play but doesn't have the same spirit that SWG live had in 2003-2005. I really wish we could get some more innovation in the MMO market. We don't need another game with solo quest hubs to max level and gear treadmill raiding endgame right now, we need a modern sandbox with new ideas. Maybe it'll fail, but we know another carbon copy of WoW wont last.
Nope! Been playing FFXIV for a while now and the repetitiveness of the endgame content is killing it slowly. Going slow on Anima weapon and still getting burned out. Since a week I can't pull the strength to log in.... Bummed out.
Yes, but I've been spending more game time with a single player game (Dragon's Dogma) than the MMORPG that I play (ESO.) I do that now and then.

I wondered that too, why would anyone play a game they're not happy with? Why waste your time doing something you're not enjoying. I thought that was an odd poll option, but apparently a fairly popular one.
If you joined and quit blade & soul at launch you both played a game recently and you weren't happy about the game.
Iselin: And the next person who says "but it's a business, they need to make money" can just go fuck yourself.

Trying something out and playing it are two different things to me. Aren't they to you?

I used to always play dps classes, but for the past few months I have been playing healer (disc priest) in WoW and having a lot of fun. .. not doing any pve though... just bg's and ashran.

Made a character on Champions Online last night, downloading Blade and Soul atm. Doubt I'll end up sticking to either of them.
I am waiting for The Division beta next weekend though.

Fun (to me) MMOs? Marvel Heroes, mostly.
World of Warship is also fun for a few days.

Really looking forward to Black Desert, though. I'll check out The Division.

So I decided to make a poll to see how common that sentiment is around here.
