It has been widely reported that Square Enix has big things to say about Final Fantasy XV in March but anything further than that has remained shrouded in mystery...that is until one intrepid NeoGaf user dug into the announcement page's source code. According to "KupoNut", there are placeholders in the code for both Steam, Windows 10, PlayStation 4 and XBox One.

Personally wish more games had PC friendly ports even if it means you have to use a controller to play.
Yea they have seen great success in the pc sales. So they have been porting them all over one at a time.
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
That said, it'd be rather bizarre if you didn't still enjoy the game regardless, they seem to be putting quite the effort into the narrative aspects.

So the worst thing I can hear is someone enjoying KH, but then going after FF15 and FF7 remakes updated combat system and saying how it should be like the older games. They could of easily named it something other then Final Fantasy. It is just SE's way of branding their own series because that Unique Sci Fi world and art style that SE has created. I personally like both play styles. I am sure people would of complained even if they did not use the FF name simply because they want what they want and expect SE to give it to them.
Also some people attribute the classic style to being harder and taking more thought, however even in FF7 if you build your Materia and do it right you can easily take out all the Ultimate weapons in about 1 min with just Cloud, no KOTR either.
Heck we can even look at FF12 as a prototype for FF14s combat system in my opinion and the Subscriptions for FF14 are quiet high even though FF12 is one of the less popular ones it seems.
Personally I am just happy they are going to some form of open world again and none of this liner path stuff they have been doing since FF10, which might be the reason why FF7 remake has to be in parts (hopefully its not just a cash grab).
But this is off topic so and I could go on with what might be seen as a rant, but I will leave it there as it is what it is.
The biggest mistake they ever made was FFXIV and a new game engine. It cost them so much it changed their entire philosophy.Their big suits said no more, just rehash old ideas like Blizzard does with all their games. That is why you see them porting over lots of old stuff when they said they would never do it.
Their direction now is copying success ideas from other games and just rehashing their own success, forget creativity that is the OLD SE team.
I found it comical and maddening at the same time, they were announcing that FFXI would likely close down but felt warranted to make a FFXI for mobile ...sigh.They completely ruined FFXI and because of cost they rushed out a weak FFXIV.
FFXV looks amazing as far as graphics go but the rest imo looks like weak sauce game designers, pretty much what i see from 99% of all game designers but SE used to be above those others.
I used to buy everything and anticipate everything SE was selling, now i hardly take notice,i have lost all confidence in their direction.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
With FF12 they divided the community into half. We oldschool hate the new combat system. As for myself, i didnt play anything past FF11. And ive played all before. Also all old FF devs have retired or gone to other companys. FF is dead for us.
Seconded, "best console series" dead at FF9, IMO.
What would be the alternative? The 15th clone of a game from the 80s?
got same feel. tis is not FF game i want to see. all thouse party members looks emos.
Give me a steam version over having to give up my privacy any day.
