Tailored in Tamriel is a new series of lore-based costumes making their way to Elder Scrolls Online's Crown Store. As Elder Scrolls fans well know, the lore of The Elder Scrolls as a series is close to sacrosanct. As such, it only makes sense than Zenimax Online Studios would bring the same sense of care to the actual clothing inside their game.

These shop items are what makes sense to me; pets, mounts, costumes - actually lets coin an industry term

PMC Cash shop = a cash shop that only contains pets, mounts, and costumes and does not change the speed at which leveling occurs, power is gain, distance is traveled, or changes the game in any other way than cosmetics.

If I were a lizard, I'd be all over that :)

Love the art of the female Dunmer costume!

I'm actually enjoying this game and the costumes are perfect cash shop items. Great for roleplay too!

I used to play this game for the PvP but given that is a mess right now, I'm just enjoying the Orsinium content for now, excellent level scaled questing right there!

For anyone that missed Loremaster's Archive about clothing, you can find it HERE! And shouldn't this be mentioned and linked in the article too? :P

Ugh can they let go of the rediculous costume system already and work on what a decent cosmetic customization system should be; individual pieces you can freely mix and match, freely dye. I don't understand how anyone can prefer this over Rifts, LotROs, FFXIV, even WoWs transmog. Wildstar, SwtoR, EQ2, you name it, they got it. How ESO manages to not apply what other MMOs consider a core mechanic is beyond me. Ah, finished the article and here's the line that explains it all; "planned for addition to the Crown Store over the coming year." Yup, I'm out. Then again, I was never "in" anyway.

Meh, this is piece just advertising product. It has no other value. Is this really where MMORPG.com is now?

At least try and dress your content up as more than adverts. Give some opinion, insight, anything.

Idk Ise, my Dragon (Argoinian Dragon Knight) is pretty damn tough. Near unlimited resources due to the 8% all stats potion passive and DK stat regen on ultimate. 9% extra health and 10% healing received.

People keep talking about him. Buffs keep rolling in. He keeps kicking butt ;)

MMORPG: What prompted the creation of these special Tailored in Tamriel, costumes?

Reply: Well this is a business. So we're under constant pressure to produce revenue. That means more cash shop items. But of course we just can't come out and say that even though everyone knows it already.

They could use a transmog system but they do consistently add new motifs for crafting and they are actually new, not just reskins.

The thing with transmog system and the like.  It most likely hurts the cash shop costumes. I miss a costume mix and match system too though.  I'm just not expecting it to come anytime soon,  and i'm ok with that.

They need to get their income from somewhere.  If pretty costumes were easy to find ingame,  they would loose income from shop costumes. Cash they would have to find another way of earning instead.

You can craft your own XP potions.

Such a beautiful game. Too bad this story was about costumes and not some sort of Lore Creator like my tired brain thought.

This right here is what I was thinking.

If ZOS put as much time into the real fixes & features for the game as they do for this half hazard costume system they might get more people back in the game supporting it.

Cyrodiil and PvP in general is broken. Cyrodiil has lost any meaning besides zerging for AP. Very few times do objectives mean anything. IC is mostly turned into dueling matches in upper city zones.

Orsinium was great for about the 2 weeks it took to go through the story line. Now, unless you like repeating the extremely easy group bosses for your chance at an armor piece, there isn't much to entertain you there.

Bite the bullet and give us a real wardrobe feature like Rift and other MMOs!
