1)scatter shot and feign death will now share the same cooldown

2)weapons are getting normalised - to stop that blue bow outdamaging epics (not as good as it sounds unfortunatly)

3) traps will be now considered stealthed instead of invisable ( much like rogues, get close enough,  you will see them )

4) flare now has a visable area

5) traps now share the same demishing return cooldown as scatter shot

6) feign death doesnt clear targets, making FD/trap near impossible (but this is probably a bug)

7) Night elf specific - shadowmeld is nerfed so you come out of stealth at the beginning of casting instead of the end ( range+stealth is a big blizzard NO NO, thats why mages lost it in beta)

i never have trouble against hunters now with my troll shadow priest but im all for anything that pisses off NEs. image  i think warlocks are much tougher with 3 dots and no cooldown on fear.

The weapon normalization was expected for quite some time... Which site did you find the other stuff on?

id like to know where you got half that info because most of it wasnt even in the patch notes.

EDIT: oh yeh, if you are not a rogue or non trinketed mage(although the trinkets wont work anymore) and cant kill a hunter on a usual basis you seriously need to learn to play.

im not over powered! look it took me 10 minutes to kill that guy

everything is fine except no FD/trap....are you sure they are going to implement this? so when you FD you are not out of combat mode?

They owned rogues with that as well now vanish is no longer out of combat for rogues in Instances. You have to be kidding me though the fact that you can feign death and trap is just retarded. Like a player is gonna fall for you falling over at 70% life. Its a much needed nerf now hunters just can't kite melee characters around like morons.

well, its been confirmed by blue to be a viable strategy. so the only thing i can say is cry more perhaps and feign never works since honor was introduced...do you really think that some one can be so stupid to see they gained no honor but the hunter is on the ground looking like he is dead and not think something is wrong there?

and if you let a hunter kite you for the long amount of time it takes(can only use 3 shots, two being offensive while kiting) and not learn to run the other way and get behind a object, since hunters cant shoot through buildings and force the hunter to come back to you so you can proceed to own him.

I've been waiting for weapon normalization, since Blizzard nerfed the slow weapon calculations for Warriors. Having a Heart Seeker Crossbow out damage the Strikers Mark didn't make much sense.

To be more specific, Blizzard is adjusting the calculations for Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot. Here are the actual notes:

    • Multi-Shot - This ability now has its attack power normalized the same as melee instant attacks. This means that the attack power contribution from all ranged weapons will be the same, no matter what their speed. All weapons will contribute attack power as if they were 2.8 speed. Weapons slower than 2.8 speed will do slightly less damage than previously; weapons faster than 2.8 speed will do slightly more damage.
    • Aimed Shot - This ability now has its attack power normalized the same as melee instant attacks.

As for the remainder of the OP's list, if those get implemented it means that the Survival tree will be more viable in PvP.
