The latest Overwatch Beta has arrived and it has some big changes! New Game Mode: Control In this update, we're introducing a brand new game mode: Control. On Control maps, two teams fight over a series of objective areas in a best-of-three format. When a team is in control of the round's objective area, they will make progress toward capturing it, and whichever team gets to 100% first wins the round.     Pre-purchased because the game looks fantastic. Still no beta invite for me yet, but hoping for one in the next round!

    Still not enough to justify $60. Will definitely buy it in the future, at a lower price.

    So basically this game is just a multiplayer FPS arena PvP game? If so, then where's the rest of the game? If Blizzard is charging $60, then where's the story and PvE portion of the game. As bad as COD is, they still offer a single player story, even if it's only 8 hours long. You can buy Destiny around the same price and get a lot bigger bang for your buck and there's actual RPG player progression.

    Yea they should have looked at Destiny for inspiration instead of TF2. My god they are owned by the same publisher even.... such a waste imo. Overwatch will no doubt be fun, but had it headed in the borderlands direction for pve, with the class roles they have it could have been amazing. No we are getting something you will likely play a lot at launch and then quickly get bored unless you're into esports or something.

    They need to invite more peeps! I'm hoping they will. I heard something about an open beta, but no clue on when that's happening. I'm sure they are getting server infrastructure ready to handle the masses. Hope you guys get in with the next wave!

    Story? Ummm there's single player AI mode? Overwatch is all about game play. That game play is buttery smooth and subtly addictive. It's a dangerous little game.

    Since CB1 went down in Dec. It's all I've wanted to play. I was like a little depressed when they moved CB2 back to Feb... No, I don't think story will be and issue for Overwatch. Millions will be just fine.

    I have to agree with the sentiment: if you want to make an online-only FPS, go right ahead...  But don't ask me to pay the full $60 for it.

    The good and bad news is the $60 price is only for the consoles (sorry console players!).  The PC game is $40, which is more palatable, to be sure.

    I don't know If i'll find this fun, there doesn't appear to be strategy only the team that "pew pews" the best gets the win.

    Because that is what it is. I hope they add as many game modes and maps as they added heroes. That will determine this game's longevity.

    The game is £45... never paid £45 for a game in my life, and I wont, love you blizz but drop it by £10 and I'm in. The good news is I recon at launch or very soon after there will be a free 'start addition' that only includes a few characters, at least on PC.
