Good to see they are still in the black. It would be a great pity if E:D had to be shut down before the game was "complete". I'm still waiting for atmospheric planetary landings and the aliens before I give it another go, so FD had better keep making a profit for the next few years... :D

Braben loves it when a good plan comes together, He should just be called Hannibal Smith

In fact Braben have proven to be one of the great strategist of game development.

He delivers, never more than promised, never less. He never lets players influence development.
And slowly slowly moves the game forward, adamant on his plan.

Result its the kickstarter game that we GOT , and not overhyped monstrosity that will never see the light of the day.

    He knows what he does

Probably at the end of this year, (Horizon Season), ED will be the SC game that we all have been waiting.

Part of Elite's lore is that some of the space ships can also double as submarines.

David Braben said he was looking forward to hunting dinosaurs!

Therefore, at some point there might be aqautic dinosaurs!

Apparently, the Cobra game engine can handle this sort of thing!

The potential future of E:D is amazing.

I'll come back to this game when there is some depth and some real content, I am all for sandbox games but the game seriously needs an all encompassing bad guy to add some substance to the world.
