Well i figured it was COE but only on a hunch which i am always good at but seriously we need to see some GAME names in the titles.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
GAME TIL YOU DIE!!!!
My guess is that it will take more than 2 years until launch, if they make it. What they're creating will require a lot of resources and they're a very small team. Recently I think they discussed about an early demo (town) with characters not yet animated, so it's still early early pre-alpha I guess.
The demo will 100% definitely have many animations complete. They're working with their mo-cap stuff every day to record animations. Of course, since it's a demo, you'll start as a teenager who doesn't have that many skills yet, so the number of combat animations will be limited as well.
As for the "very small team". The team is increasing in size with at least one a week at the moment. Of course, we don't know how long they will keep that up, but I've heard about some people being interviewed again. Also, the more money they get with their Kickstarter in April/May, the more people they can hire to speed things up.
I should have specified that I was talking about the town demo they've created and published screenshots of. They mentioned that the characters were not animated yet and that was one of the reason why they wouldn't show in-game footage.
You mention a team of developers getting larger, do you have any specific information about this, like the name of those developers, their tasks, etc.?

For awhile (not sure how long) they didn't have an animator. Which is why a lot of what we have seen and are still seeing is landscape and not npcs moving about in the world. Now that they are knocking out animations for the combat video, we will all soon have a better idea what this game will look like in motion.
