Writing a review for an expansion to a story-based RPG is never easy. Suffice it to say, you’ll want to turn back now if you don’t want spoilers on Pillars of Eternity’s White March Part 1. If you just want the score, and to know whether or not it lives up to the game’s earlier content? The score is 8.4 and yes, it definitely does. Read on for our full review.

Woohoo! Looking forward to finishing the story! Loved, LOVED the "vanilla" version and first half expansion. Baldur's Gate was my first game ever, so I'm biased. I highly recommend the game.

VALUE: 9 For $15 and free to Kickstarter backers, there is around 20 hours’ worth of content here. Definitely worth the price, and more considering replay value on other characters.

For backers in the $165+ tier

or from my understanding backers who purchased the WM p1 DLC already.

    What are your other Hobbies?

Gaming is Dirt Cheap compared to this...

Backing is not the same as buying a game...

I'm not going to read so I don't get spoilers, but I'm hoping this xpac is good.

I still have to finish the main game. I got about halfway through and my party composition wasn't good enough so I've had to start over. That was sort of frustrating so I've put the game down for a while. I'll finish the Divinity:OS enhanced version and then come back to this. Hopefully by then I'll sink into the game again.

@Torval they put a mode in just for you, its called Story time, its less of an "easy mode" and more of a normal mode for sub-optimal parties, fudges a few rolls in your favour etc.

To me it was pretty straight forward. Theres really an easy mode even for "hard" if you prefer to cheese your way through the game.

I guess "easy mode" is just if you want to play for flavor, even with what might be "gimped" character (for RP reasons) or non optimal party that you like more (for flavor) than optimal one.

Anyway, time to replay it once more.
