Well, thats new...its not a Kickstarter but a -Patreon-, which means a constant per month amount of money. I'm...not really sure how I feel on that. If people get tired of waiting for the game, I could see it just...drying up. On the other hand, it will probably get more money from various people over a period of time with smaller donations, so could end up with more revenue than normal.

In either case though, hope it the best, its an interesting and not very used premise, but theres just...a lot of "in development" MMO's right now, so its somewhat hard to get excited for another one until it starts getting closer and more concrete.

had they said SP game or some kind of co-op i would be interested.

But a crowdfunded MMO.... From a new studio.... Way to much of a risk for me to contribute to.

But i wish them the best of luck.

This have been a good conversation

Ack they have taken my poem and are making it a video game. In my poem also called Sorrow's Kiss, Joy is an angel who is given a kiss by the snake in the garden and becomes a fallen angel named Sorrow, something between an angel and a demon. The first of the Vampire.

It's not really an investment... like the off risk would be not a fun game. I can understand if you don't have the money to throw around but risky?

no it is just that i have zero faith in them being able to deliver a game.. let alone a MMO.

So for me to do it i would have to have money to in essence set fire to. Don´t have that right now.

To be honest i rather wait for Paradox take on WoD.

Nice lore you put together there.

In their statement, they listed several IP they would use as source. That is a no-no.

Konfess your cyns and some maybe forgiven
Boy: Why can't I talk to Him?
Mom: We don't talk to Priests.
As if it could exist, without being payed for.
F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
    Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
It costs money to play.  Therefore P2W.

Thanks, that makes sense.  The idea of the Vampire came from the Libertines.  They would stay up all night partying, and not be seen in the daylight by respectable society.  When someone's wife or daughter fell victim to one of these men, the men would often have to be killed or driven out of the county.
