Hi guys I'm looking to get a new PC for around £900.
I'm from UK and really cant spend time assembling a new PC. 1st off I don't have the time to be messing around and secondly I have sausage fingers.

Can somebody help me qith a quick link to some good worthy PCs.

Theres so much out there now its mind boggling.

games I want to run are new Doom, UT4 and anything and everything demanding. Warhammer eternal crusade etc.

Thanks in advance.

Stay away from pre-built PCs and if you cannot assemble PC yourself, ask in the shop to do it for you.

Post a link to shop of your choice so one can pick parts for you...

Get a real good CPU that is what i did and i am very happy i made that choice.

I was intending on upgrading the GPU soon after  but have not needed to for over a year now.I have been too unhappy over hyped GPU's and their  high cost.

I simply went for an Intel CPU that was decent and low priced and that was all i cared about.

That CPU was an I7 4790 ,i am sure at this point you can get a tier or two higher than that CPU now for a decent price.Don't go spending foolishly,GPU's are  NOT very important, they have not been and likely years still before they are relevant. My GPU is utter crap, yet i could play FFXIV and MANY other high graphic games, maybe not on max but i don't need maximum settings to enjoy the game, just give me 30 frames a second and i am good to go.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Pre-built PC's aren't horrible. But holy crap your examples of what you're wanting to run are another story in the scenario. But I'm going to try and help here if I can.

Here is a good starter, and would give you a lot of upgrade options that I've found, will do what you want it to out of the box.

I don't agree with Gemami often, but yeah, what he says.

Building around CalmOceans post, using whatever component happens to be on sale that is near equivalent, is a very good starting point.

Personally, I'd wait until June - save up until you can afford Oculus Rift and a computer that's powerful enough to run it.

I think Oculus will be a game changer, although I am aware that some people disagree.

+1 agree, that list is a nice overall starting point. Actually, since gfx card is important ( ), I'd even shake that list up a bit:
since you don't want to OC or any "pimping out" stuff, the mobo is way too much for your needs, a H170 would be enough. Also, since you don't plan to dive under the hood a lot ("sausage fingers"), you don't need a fancy case either, a cheapo default one is enough (especially if you let the assembling part to the store... they're hopefully skilled enough not to cut their fingers with the rougher edges on a default case  )

And, with the ~100 bucks you save on those two, you can get a 980 instead of 970. The 6600k can serve it well, and you'll have a gear which can last for several years, and for evey game out there with top settings.

Here's the uk site. http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/system/Infinity_X55/ or here http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/Award-Winning-PCs-c120.htm

As long as they build custom gaming computers you'll be fine. Most use good parts.
The dinopc Primal GT2 defaults are actually pretty good.  From those defaults, I'd upgrade to a Core i5-6600K, drop down to 8 GB of memory, swap out a Radeon R9 390 for the GeForce GTX 970, and get a little better power supply.  I don't particularly like their power supply options, though.
