I hate the draw distance.  I haven't figured out the UI or the hotkeys.  I go to controls and the hotkeys aren't there.  I do think this game has some promise though.  Looking forward to learning more.

Combat was terrible and the game all around gave me a headache basically. Just not for me.
Interesting, because after i played for like 45mins i had a headache too.

I blame it on the 30fps i got. Somehow my fps seemed locked to steady 30fps because no matter what i turned on or off in the settings, the game never went above or below 30fps on my machine (i2500@4.6 , OC gtx970, 2560x1080)

Ya, my wife and I literally had headaches from it. Never has that happened in a game with us.

Played it both ways, made no difference.

Your points are valid, and I completely agree with all but two of them.  But dude, when have the Koreans ever done anything different then what you just described?  This is the cash shop formula further refined.  Less content and more repetitive great "looking" "action" combat.

Good info...for a reason borderless full screen gives me steady 60fps now.

    2. Autopathing to quests. First off, HOW LAZY DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO NEED THIS GOD DAMNED UTILITY. Secondly, its buggy, boring, and implemented poorly. I mean seriously, how lazy are you that you want to play a game, but not actually play it....

This is what's most striking about BDO. The insane ease of the gameplay.

"Hey, here is a giant world....oh, and you travel through it with waypoints and automatically run to quest NPC....don't need to even be at your screen"

    lol?

you don't even need to explore the game, the game is already explored for you, with everything marked on your map and waypoints to everything

why even bother playing at all? just send people loot by mail while they're afk
This auto waypoints is completely OPTIONAL. It's not forced, if one does not like it, you can turn it off. Why the hell make a big issue of an OPTIONAL feature?
It simply takes you to the general area of the quest. From there you hafta do all the same as any other MMO and find your quest targets and kill em yourself or talk to the NPC.

You would think that people who wouldn't want this feature would be bright enough to turn it off.

This game has no fast travel, which I personally like. It's kind of nice to set an autopath sometimes so I can go to the can and take a dump while my toon is traveling to the next POI.

Some quests won't allow you to use the auto path feature as well. I've used it so far twice while I've gone to the bathroom and another to make some food. Quite useful but slow as shit since you don't really run and hitting everyone will slow you down even more

One of the things you had to do before even playing was check a tick-box saying you understood and agreed no refunds if you took part in the beta. (if you didn't play or download, refunds were allowed in two weeks I think).

Since he didn't even mention the tick-box, makes me think the OP didn't even play the game. Reading his points, I am sure of it.

    Pathetic.
