Just to add, its nothing perfect out there because everyone has a opinion on what there perfect game is, you have to play it for what it is and enjoy it or not, Belive me if YOU was able to make a game there would be some dick hole that would come along and say O i could have done better, or this game is wrong because of this.
funny you should say that because I was just thinking the same thing.
I'm working on a rather large skyrim mod. The thing is, the traps are made so that they might kill you instantly if you don't notice them, there are no quest markers, there is a possibility of the player getting lost.
Essentially, things I like!
I was then thinking that if I were to design my perfect mmo, someone would come to the forums to tell me what a crap game I made. And after all the work was put in! I've already prepared myself for that response once I release the mod.
I wonder how developers must feel for putting in all that effort, working in bad condidtions or at a company where they don't know if it will still be there after launch only to have some forum person post what a sack of garbage their efforts amounted to.
Game developers need to have thick skins. "Your mod sucks" may mean, I'm not your target audience. Now if your target audience is unhappy with your mod then you need to look at why and what can be done to improve the experience. If your mod has very niche tastes then it might not be popular, but it may be great.
I think developers need to look through those filtered lenses to evaluate feedback. The problem comes when a dev team starts filtering out important critical feedback from their target demographic. Raph Koster has warned of this in a few pieces/posts.
Bless looks beautiful. And it looks huge. Those are two very attractive attributes. The city he flew through was massive. I love stuff like that, stuff that's too big to easily mentally map it all.
I'll wait to form solid opinions until I see how game mechanics flesh out. But based on the world I would be interested in at least exploring it for a little bit even if the other aspects are unappealing.
Oh yeah, I agree. If one is to be in any creative field one must have a thick skin. And one must know who the audience is.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Looks like zerg combat. A "world boss" allowing a character to run back after dying and engage multiple times is too easy.
Well that's what you would do in Lineage 2 and I think there are quite a few people out there who are interested in an updated Lineage 2 type game. Obviously the leveling won't be as long.
Ok just watched the video and I see they respawn. So it's sort of like Lineage 2 sieges come to think of it.
At least when your flag goes down.
This just looks like an old school raid like any number of open world bosses in L2 and I assume other similar games.

Its pretty but is it going to be one of those games where challenge = getting a 0.1% chance drop from faceroll content or enchanting an item to +XX with a growing chance of failure resetting you back to +0 and each attempt costing you a few weeks worth of grinding?
Great quality on the graphics. But where are the forests and farmlands? Looks like it is all mountain uplands not even any meadows, very boring if you ask me.

From 12:40 to 13:15 he flies over and lands in a forest environment.
Oh look, another Korean action MMO with no lore, no substance, no class interdepence, no good endgame content, and no difficulty.
But wait....it has nice graphics and panty shots!
Lineage, Aion, ArcheAge, Blade & Soul, Black Desert Online, Bless Online .....etc. How many of the same type of games do we need.
You make a lot of blatantly false assertions in the majority of your posts. The perfect examole of a jaded gamer.
Almost all of these games have plenty of lore, class interdepence, substance, endgame content, and difficulty. For most of these you're either stating your opinion or just flat out lying.
The game looks beautiful, I wonder if it offers anything outside nice graphics, also how well is the game optimized. I was supriced to learn that Bless Online offers role-class play with healers, dmg dealers,..It seems that is not some cheap, fast food game, which are very valued today. I found also one other game which seems to be very nice, it's called '' Dragon’s Dogma Online '' for PC. Although about Dragon’s Dogma Online PC, is hardly any information, but the game was recently published in Japan (with Ip block).
Awww, that brings back fond memories of flying around Azeroth on my Netherdrakes. Of course this game's much, much prettier than WoW.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

I agree that is a concern......I looked at this game over a year ago and while the descriptions and screen shots are impressive, in the end it looks like all the others on your list.

I have the complete opposite opinion. Fast travel ruins games for me. I hope that is as fast as it gets.
