Guess i'm in for a long night tonight...
To those of you who've played it:
What are the three best things about it?
It's definitely not the new shiny hyped game like some others. So if you're looking for a complete MMO revolution that's unlike anything that's come before this is probably not your game.
Now graphics aren't the greatest but animations I personally find superb, your character's movement is very smooth and skills look great which makes everything a lot better. I'd personally rather have good animation quality than graphics quality ( looking at you Secret World ).
The Asian setting is a nice change from the usual western fantasy fare. Not a great many races but at least they're not Orcs and Elves. Classes are quite standard but do seem to have a few unique things, my warrior is currently rocking a katana and healers seem to have several Buddhist inspired skills.
There's a number of advancement systems that keep levelling interesting thus far. You can create and combine divine souls which give stat bonuses but you only have a limited amount of slots for. You can roll a sort-of slot machine for additional stat upgrades, having to decide whether you'll take a few points loss in one stat to get more of another. There's basic talent trees as well.
Everything I've seen from the cash shop thus far seems fair. You can advance a lot faster if you pay, so if you're looking to grab one of the server-first achievements you'll probably have to open your wallet. Otherwise I've seen nothing insane and everything seems to be able to be traded in-game as well.
If you hate tab-target, hotbar-based themeparks I wouldn't bother with this, there's plenty of over-hyped MMO revolutions on the horizon just waiting to disappoint you.
If however you think those games are fine but you got bored of the usual settings and usual mechanics then Asta Online seems to have enough interesting features in store to appeal.
Try it for yourself, it's free after all.
We are the bunny.
Resistance is futile.

I thank you for taking the time to give my your impression, though.
However, I'm not looking for something that familiar and unambitious.
