Game is actually alot more than I had expected their website and support is literally non existent Jesus I've been trying to enter the gift key for free items in open beta and everytime I try their website says must be logged in first when it clearly shows me being logged in. So I'll try logging in again and try again and then it will continually say the same thing over and over again! gift keys are literally useless so I then tried to submit a ticket to webzen and everytime I click "submit ticket" it loops me back to their main website lol it's literally like trying to find your way out of an endless maze (spelling?) !!!!

That is my concern Webzen not the game i am actually enjoying the game but as for the puiblisher i don't know i have never played any of the games they have published and i have heard people complaining about them over the years.
Production quality is lacking, combat and game feels really slow, not fluid at all.
Items that drop seam to drop for other classes.
At level 9 healing in a dungeon with 2 abilities isn't enough to keep the party alive.
I break down those green and blue drops from other classes and use the source materials to upgrade my own gear.
I have a +4 blue staff and +1 to +3 green armour. It makes a huge difference.
Also the spirits make a big difference to effectiveness as well. I have a blue (I think it's buffalo?) spirit that I've leveled up and it gives an extra 1000hp. That's huge on a mage. My other spirit is for evasion. I'm not sure what the best spirits are for each class, but these have worked acceptably well. I would like to trade the evasion spirit for either physical defense or plus power for better damage.
I downloaded the game, registered an account and everything. Then I realized the game is IP blocked against my place. Never understood why they'd do that. OTL
The game actually has pretty good systems in place. The crafting is not too shallow and requires you to make the parts to make the item. At least they added that step, which I like. I found myself fishing more than I care to admit. My warrior is a blast to play and I am using my talent tree points to make him a better tank. The ability to treasure hunt, fish,be a bounty hunter is a bonus. I like the graphics and music. The mounts are great. Getting a party together has not been an issue for me but I met a few folks and the low population has not affected me. I understand why many would not like the game. I get it. Is it a WOW clone? Well they marketed the game in Asia as the 'Asian WOW' so yes it is. Though I think it one ups WOW in almost everything but classes. Only because there are not very many. To those who have just watched a video and not played it I say at least try it. It is free and the cash shop is not P2W nor needed. For those who have played it and still hated it like @StoneRoses I respect you for at least trying it instead of looking at a screenshot and saying
"Garbage! I fling Poo at you and this Poo of a game!" blah blah blah.
At least he tried it and came to his own conclusion that he hated it. Cheers!
I never said I hated it.
I put down Hearthstone and GW2 so I can try it out.
Game play just feels too slow and doesn't feel optimized. It takes forever to launch. There seems to be some delay when I move out of telegraph and at times my movement is locked going in one direction, it's even worse in dungeon boss fight.
Sites like this do need to get money somehow. Given a choice between:
1) clearly labeled sponsored posts like this
2) ads that include auto-play videos with audio
3) ads that resize themselves to go outside of their banner area and cover the entire screen, rendering everything else on the site inaccessible
4) double underline ads that cause pop-ups if you move the mouse over them to cover up the text you were trying to read
5) ads that include browser redirects to malicious web sites
Is it really a hard choice? They could have two sponsored posts like this every day and it would beat any of the other things listed.
Classes. It sure would be nice to know what those 5 "distinct" classes are. You know, the information most likely to influence potential gamers in investing their time... It doesn't help that 99% of the information out there is in Korean.
The incredibly generic names are on the official site under guide BTW, but their descriptions are under construction. How do they play? Are they as boring as they sound? What, if anything, sets them apart from their archetypes in other games?
I get this is an ad rather than a review, but you should be aware that people want to know how the gameplay differs from its competition. By not saying anything, my conclusion is: it doesn't.

Learn korean?
Warrior, Healer, Mage, Rogue, Archer..... are pretty common names in the RPG World far from being generic.
The game is OPEN BETA FREE TO PLAY.....again with the OPTION to use your CREDIT CARD. No one is forcing you to buy anything.

There is another class ready to be released the berserker class but not sure when it will come.

Did you happen to peruse the cash shop? Someone said earlier that it was like Runes of Magic and just looking at the cash shop it is evident they copied that part of the game at least. Not so sure it plays like it though.
Sure you can have fun for a bit in it. My thought is, it is a complete waste of time because the game is a huge money sink. And sure you can play for now without spending much money, but after you have spent some time in the game and you want to continue, this game will be a significant money tap.
So why waste time in a game that will be a shortlived experience for most of us. There are a lot better games out there to throw money at.

I don't think the cash shop is as bad as people think and i played runes of magic and the costly thing about that game was changing stats from one piece of gear to another all the time with them things what you could only get from the cash shop and not in game you couldn't sell them on the auction house yoou had to do a dodgy trade with someone i started asking for gold upfront in that game because i got scammed but was the one and only time.
If you look at Asta Cash shop well i know which part people are talking about it the soul stone shop which you can get upgraders to upgrade gear but you can also get that stuff from ingame when you do events and also dismantling gear the thing you will have to get from the soul stone shop is la protection thing because when you enchant an item it can fail and possibly drop a level or get destroyed.
You can also farm soul stones in game and even though the items in the soul stone shop say bind on pick so you can't trade them the packs of soulstones which are bought with wcoin are tradeable i don't know if you have to trade them person to person or via the auction house i am also level 39 and i haven't had to use the cash shop yet i did get a pet but that is because i am lazy picking my own loot up and has saved me a lot of time.
I really enjoy the game. The crafting is fun. I am a blacksmith and Armour maker. I like the fishing, the bounty hunter and treasure hunter sub professions. The PvE is fun and the world, using the CryEngine 3, is pretty and open. The music is great and I like that each race starts in their own area with their own quest lines. The mounts are great! I wish there were more classes but the ones they have are nice and well thought out. I like the talent tree. Overall a really well made game if you like a more traditional MMO approach. It does not reinvent the wheel but for what it sets out to do it does very well.
I've been playing it for a couple days now and have to admit it is a fun well made game. Like you said, it does not reinvent the wheel. It is very much WOW like, but better IMO. Crafting is good and the sub professions are done well. I really like the talent trees and the fact that the classes can be so diverse.
