Question: does the game have Darker skin tones to make Black Characters?

in the trailer I only see Asians and Anglo humanoid characters.

Is it possible to play as a black person?

Well it being set in a black desert I can certainly see the advantages of a black skinned character as far as PvP is concerned.

Other than that your question is slightly to overwhelmingly trollish with hints of SJW nonsense.

EDITED: I must admit the CC is stellar! Maybe the best in the MMO market? I really wish I could get a trial key to check it out. I've been burned too many times by just blindly buying.

Yes. It has very good skin tone options actually. I spent 2 hours making a sorcerer yesterday. I was going for a heart of Africa, shriveled up, witch-doctor type vibe only to log in for the first time and have the default wizard staring back at me. Haven't logged in since. I might try again today. He was amazing looking too. Despite the incredible character creation, I'm having a hard time getting into this game.

thanks I believe I want to get this now. If not worth as a MMO seem like a decent online single player hack and slasher if anything.

i heard people talking last night about a bug where you log in to the default character after making yours. they said just log out and back in or change channels and back and it should show your customization

Thanks for the tip. It didn't work, BUT now, at least, the log-in character select screen shows the correct appearance, so it seems I just got whatever bug is causing this. Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon. I suppose this bug beats not being able to play at all like many launches.

It's a known bug that I have/am experiencing myself. Changing channels from character select didn't work for me. I got it work by hitting escape key on that character then clicking on Ch. Shift (next to disconnect)and then selecting new channel. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to sync. It seems though you have to be past a certain point in the tutorial to actually use it. It will show restricted untill you get past that point. Think you have to be past your first skill with the trainer. You also seem to have to be in a safe zone in order to switch channels. Hope this works for you.

To me the game is just average but the UI has made it unplayable for me way too cumbersome.

Anyhow if someone tells me easy quick how to actually get my 2 pass keys i'll post them but i'm not going to look to hard because like i said game is not too fun for me.

Maybe one day when i am very motivated to change all the key binds or they support my controller ,i might get into the game again but for now,it collects dust.Geesh Daum is so lame i didn't have my pet that apparently comes in the mail ,,LMAO they sure get their money instantly but a cheap ass digital mount and pet they have to delay and mail it.

Don't know how to get the pass keys but do know that to get your other stuff you first have to claim it on the Web account page - no idea why they did that.

Also just so you know I have successfully remapped all the keys due to the fact I mouse with my left hand and use the numpad for my right - it not only remapped each one with no problem it shows the new mapping in all of the tutorial stuff in the UI. Which is nice to have for about 15 minutes and then you go in and turn off all the extra UI stuff that is irritating.

I personally dislike the whole black spirit thing but am in love with the game since reaching Veila and starting in on understanding nodes and life skills. It is really critical to make sure all of the quests are turned on if you want to do much beyond combat.

Changing channels from Character Select did work for me - I made sure to change to a different letter not just a different number per someone's advice (I think on Reddit but don't remember for sure).

Well in my case looking 'good' doesn't actually apply as most of my characters have lots of wrinkles and are overweight - hehe just like me in real life. Do they look like what I created in the creator - yes - with the caution that you should view all of your characters in the different weather environments (there's a selection wheel in the creator).

Even having done that it's taken me a bit to realize the other big difference I'm seeing is all based on lighting. Luckily you can buy coupons to change your looks after creation because I have one character with just the right hair cut and color that when the sun is up high she looks like she's got a huge bald spot on the top of her head.

In order to claim any item/pass key, you have to log into your account on their website. Hit account in the upper right and you will see a list of things you can claim.

Your pet is probably there.
