Bioware today is not the Bioware we once knew.

    Amen brother!

Bioware today isn't bioware at all. It's EA with a coat of Bioware paint. Or maybe the zombified corpse of Bioware being controlled by the evil necromancer EA.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

This sort of news reports that are nothing but speculation always leave a sour taste in my mouth. People don't seem to get that game development is a collaborative effort, and that a few people leaving does not spell gloom and doom for the entire project.
And all of you "Bioware is not what it used to be" folks need to change the record cause that one is getting really old and scratched to hell. Bioware has changed because they had to. It's a much better alternative to shutting down the studio and having thousands of good and talented people out of a job. Welcome to the real world guys, it's complicated and rarely fair.

Another EA company going down. Well done EA, well done...

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

A few years ago EA had gotten into a habit of releasing "unpolished" games and were - rightly - criticised. The EA of today however - based on what they have been releasing - has changed.

It is not in our interests - as gamers - to "bash" without cause. There are "to few" companies out there and "to few" games being made.

Criticism has its place but needs to have a foundation: Sim City Online, TESO at launch, WoW's last expansion rightly took flak etc. but when things are turned around we need to say so. And when it comes to EA the difference between e.g. the launch of BF4 and e.g. SW BF the adage about chalk and cheese is appropriate. And we need to recognise that.

You aren't the company I love anymore, you are just the company that ate the company I use to love.

    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.
