Hello,
Ive been playing WOW forever (please dont hurt me), and thinking about trying guild wars. It looks like fun, and im in games for the pvp and WOW is getting old.
How is the PVP in this game?
Can anyone link to a extreme PVP video?

Guildwars is developed from the ground up on PvP, and look around on google, itll say GW has the best PvP system fullstop. And no, Im not a GW fanboy, I just played alota MMOs and it really is he best.
You get currency for winning in PvP, and those who win the most elite PvP can control elite contents access.

The link aboive is a small pvp video from th PvP Extreme weekend last year. Since then new maps and such has been added and the new GW chaspter, GW:Factions is almost 50% based PvP.
GW PVP is quite good. Even people I know who don't like pvp, tend to like the pvp in Guildwars.
I would best describe the pvp in GW as 'intense'. When your'e doing an arena battle, the fight can be over in a matter of minutes. Othertimes, or in guild wars, the fights can last much much longer. Generally though combat I find is quite intense compared to most other games.

I find GW a fun game. The PvE is not the best I've played in an MMO, and I thought the main story line was a bit shallow. Still enjoyable though.
I really like the PvP in this game though, better than in any MMO I've ever played. It's intense and fun. The game is balanced in numbers and levels and gear, which I appreciate a lot. If you're looking for FFA PvP however, this game is not for you.

Guild War has the best pvp I've ever played, bar none. And there are many ways to pvp as well. The big one is Guild vs Guild, which has it's own ladder seasons and championships, but there are less serious options, such as Hero's Acent and the 4v4 Team and Random Arenas.
