BDO world would be more living if they made it like GW2

I did enjoy GW2 allot  especially the dynamic events, sure they are scripted so are all games, the point is I really did enjoy seeing mobs attack and outpost either they took it or they were defeated or merchants doing their thing, quests chains led to boss spawns ect, all those events all over made GW2 feel alive.

I would love to see those things also in BDO, as we see now the mobs are the classic Asian style, standing still in nicely packed group for easy farming purpose with 10-20 second respawn timer.
Yes I know your primary lvling are thrue grinding mobs but with GW2 type of event system would really make this game more alive, gameworld can change from a peaceful hamlet one day, a hellhole with bandits the next and they are about to launch an attacks on the nearby farms.

I'm not saying make it like GW2 or make it themepark I just want it to be more alive with events happening all around the world.

Events will happen. Often. But the difference is, it won't be scripted. You won't be doing the same old same old. It's going to be dicated by player's initiatives through things like guild wars. Fights will happen across the world, battles over forts and territory. Nodes to compete over in nodewars. Big-events are going to be there once they throw away the curtains from their launch schedhule and their promise to allow players to settle in before they toss in the big updates. It's not GW2, it will never be like GW2. Just play GW2 if you are into illusionary "dynamic" events that are in fact scripted.

It's more about what players create with the tools given to them than them trying to get satisfaction with what a game gives to them. It's going to be great once you can work with your guild to obtain your very own guildhouse and everything that follows with it including the option to try and get yourself a 3-player elephant mount to help you on your adventures or bust open the gates of your enemy.

Ship-to-ship combat will be there upon the big sea update and monsters will lurk the waters. You will need a big group and sturdy frigates if you want to try your luck at a kraken boss somewhere in the deep blue sea and all this tied together

I have seen a few events, such as monsters attacking city gates, or mobs fighting amongst themselves.

I saw Imps attack an outpost and I helped the NPC guards kill them.

There are already a bunch of interesting areas where the monsters are doing different things, like the harpy tower where soldiers are hanging off the walls looks pretty good. Or some big siege areas with cannons and arrow volleys flying over the walls with the monsters fighting on the walls.

I wouldnt mind seeing some event where hundreds of tough monsters are attacking places like Calpheon or other towns but I think it would be pretty taxing on anyones computer.

Gotta disagree, this game has got to be the MMO with the most lively and immersive world. I loved GW2 and I do miss those random events (they are here just not in the same scale). Still the strongest factor of this game must be it's world so I hardly think that it's possible to turn the world more lively than it already is

Isn't this like the second thread to suggest BDO would be great. If it was more like GW2?

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

Gw2 doesn't want to be like GW2 anymore.  Their HoT content and hardcore attitude is a change I don't like.  I seldom do HoT now.
