The votes are in and the final two World of Warcraft combatants in the March Badness "baddest of the bad" contest have been named. Players are asked to cast their votes on who they think would prevail in an epic battle: Illidan the Betrayer or The Lich King.

    Soemone said it right.

    Artas already kicked illidan's ass before he was even the linch king.

    So i vote for artas.

    Arthas beat Illidan like a redheaded stepchild last time they fought, and he wasn't even the lich king yet. In fact, his power was actually diminishing because the current lich king was dying. So not only was he not the lich king, he wasn't even at full strength, and sent Illidan blubbering back to Maiev with his tail between his legs. 

    Kind of a no-brainer to anyone who's read the lore. Well, at least until they retcon it into something stupid, or ruin a great villain by turning him into a Saturday morning cartoon character. Wait, too late on that last one.

    Oh Shit, it's going down now. Arthas all the way, that is unless any members of the light are present and bless the battleground turning it into a place of holyness, if that happens, I won't be surprised to see a death gate exit left center stage and a postponed fight.

    Lich King all the way, he already beat him once when he was still Arthas, and now he is even more powerfull, or he was at least as full Lich King, now he's Bolvar, jailor of the damned :D He would still win though :)
