Funny! So , they removed the trade between players because of ... gold sellers , they introduced fixed auction house prices on items, because of ... gold sellers , and now , they are still having "issues" with gold sellers? Wow! Big news!

Why don't you make the game ala D3? What's with this open world non-sens? You want your players to play solo anyway, so why bother creating a MMO?

"• Items traded 1:1 will become character bound and can not be sold anymore to the NPC, nor used for professions such as crafting/alchemy/cooking anymore (character bound)"

    More limitation please ........

Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

Um...i read that on official site and that is exactly what it says. But anyways, a game revolving around doing stuff solo in every corner, no matter how much more restriction they put on player interaction would not make much of a difference from what it already is.

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

Glad they're actually listening to player feedback, getting tired of these gold sellers

How and why! It's always an excuse right? Gold sellers will always exist and will find ways to make $ . Most of the guilt , is on the players part, because they are using gold sellers. They should be banned, and not create systems which limits interaction with other players in terms of trades, guilds, etc.

I remember in the old day we had GM's that where ingame and just account banned them.
Now GM's are forum junkie's that never luanch the game itself.
And its the player's who get limited in action's.
While the gold seller's just continue their bigness.
Even when they loose a crapload of money to the goldseller's since the use of stolen cc's.
Ah well daum good luck with the cc cashback's

In the good part. The gold seller is not as bad as blade and soul.
  • exile01exile01 Member RarePosts: 1,089
its funny, they cant even ban the goldsellers because they have all bought the game for 30dollars- and if they do bann them they will charge back- wich will cost daum more then 30 dollars internally for that charge back.

daum played that very good- i mean the only cash they could probably lose comes from gold sellers.

I mean even Skyforge had gold spammers spamming chat, doesn't mean the offer they are giving is not shady as fuck.

As I always say; If you fall for such obvious scams, you deserve the money/account you lost.

Actually today after patch the gold sellers seem more prevalent then before the patch ...or perhaps just me.

This is why I'm not playing Black Desert, if I want a single player game I will go play my modded Skyrim.

    Played: MCO - EQ/EQ2 - WoW - VG - WAR - AoC - LoTRO - DDO - GW/GW2 - Eve - Rift - FE - TSW - TSO - WS - ESO - AA - BD
    Playing: Sims 3 & 4, Diablo3 and PoE
    Waiting on: Lost Ark
Who's going to make a Cyberpunk MMO?

They are handling gold-sellers well.  It's really smart.  It benefits players who don't have to deal with the spam or bots, and it benefits them because people will have to go to them for purchases.

Hopefully it continues to succeed and Devs will realize something can actually be done about gold-sellers.

It's sad when so many people think they're playing a solo game if they can't trade with other players. A sad state of affairs when teamwork is neligible in comparison to some meaningless trading when you could be out there helping your friends learn cool shit in crafting and slay some epic bosses. That's a lot more memorable and fun to do with your mates in a massive multiplayer game than dawdling and opening up some trade menu.

Trading is good though don't get me wrong I just don't see why it's that important in the grand scheme of things especially the way some people make it out to be. Is it bad? Yeah. But they're not doing it to spite you, it's so the game won't get abused to death and the economy goes to shit. You all realize it's a sandbox game where if trading wasn't as restrictive as it is, a person could effectively purchase his entire fully-fleged endgame gear and tools & horses and all from some goldseller store at lvl 1. Lvl 1!

Think about it please. It's there for a reason.

Enjoy the game most of all and if it isn't your cup of tea. Move on! Because it's either this or essentially destroying the entire game.

This is why I'm not playing Black Desert, if I want a single player game I will go play my modded Skyrim.

I have grouped up with guild members almost every night and got a lot of stuff done such as guild quest, scrolls quest, grinding, ect. Guess I will have to tell them that we are playing it wrong.

Devs are perfectly clear that eliminating all trading kills gold sellers

It also kills guilds and many social aspects.

Sort of like coming up with the solution for worlds problems - destroy the earth, yeah...
Guilds are alive and booming in BDO in fact it is one of the few games i've seen that pushes guilds to actively WANT to work together to achieve actually HELPING the guild as a whole rather than themselves individually. If you ask the question when ever joining a guild "What can your guild do for me" those aren't the type of players that need to be around. The game is not this instant gratification get everything super fast cuz you made a higher level gathering / crafting etc buddy, it is a GUILD-centric pvp based game that is open world (no instancing other than housing which is done in an overworld instancing manner). If you want to help your guild do the guild quests, if you can't personally craft item X go get some contribution points and workers and get that shit going.

This is a game where you don't need to have someone elses hellp to craft and gather sure but not focusing on an area hurts you bad.

It is amazing that when nexon employed the same restriction with tree of savior the whole internet was trying to cut off their heads but now daum is doing it but they are treated like heroes!!! Amazing!!! Gotta love internet. My mother told me something last time i told her she needs to learn how to use internet : "son i am not so educated like you and i don't understand computer or smartphone much but common sense tells me that random people hiding behind anonymity can be full of shit."

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

Restricting the game to fend off gold sellers is ridiculous in any game. Its unacceptable. I hope they find a way to let guilds trade. Maybe allowing trading only within a guild.

Im still loving the game and will be playing it for a long time, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see this problem from a mile away.

This is the lazy studio's way of controlling gold trading.  There is little interaction in this game between players, why even play it?  That is NOT what a MMO is about!

System controlled trading is a complete joke in this day and age.  Just another nail in the coffin for this game.

Lets say you farm 100 cords of wood.  You need 50 cords of wood to make a rowboat.  You make a rowboat and then decide to give the other 50 cords of wood to your friend so that they can make a rowboat.  You can't give them the 50 cords of wood.  You have to post it on the auction house at their set price and your friend has to buy it.

There is almost no trading allowed in the game.  You and your friend basically gain nothing by helping each other in said tasks.

Ahh, but posting it on auction is so expensive~ because of the min price on the market still makes it expensive. But I might just trade with friends by buying them in auction
