Are there interesting dungeons? Is death meaningful?

Thanks for any insights!  The game looks great but I don't really want a game where death doesn't hurt a bit or lacking in dungeons.  Not really into instances either but I understand I can't have everything!

Goblin Cave is a mini dungeon that I ran across around level 12 and I just found a dungeon last night named Serendia Shrine that was too tough for me so I have to level up more before I can go there. I am currently level 25. They have something called Danger Zones in the open world that have some tougher mobs.

As for dying right now it does not hurt but I have no idea how it is at higher level.

Dying costs you XP and gems... at lower levels these might not seem like much but have a much more meaningful present at later levels... specially considering that XP and gems are a big factor if you solely focus on grinding and pvping

PVP deaths also cost you the items and xp?

Yap but I think there is one exception which is the pvp arena where you can fight and die without losing anything

At lvl 50+, where you'll spend most of your time, dying can cost you about 30mins in terms of xp and money lost. And at lvl 55 I hear every death sets you back about 5h. Making it one of the harsher death penalties out there.

pve death only cost you xp
pvp kill cost you xp and there is a chance you lose a gem
when a pk'er dyes with enough negative karma he lose xp, greater chance of losing gem and drops his whole inventory (that what i heard, maybe that's not 100% correct) except equipted item.

    edit:

note that there are two kinds of pvp. when you turn pvp on and get killed, the "pvp death" comes in action... when you don't turn pvp on and get killed by another player it's a pk and the murderer get's negative karma. after a specific amount of negative karma there will be a bounty on his head and even npc guards in safe zones will start to attack that pk'er. for pk'er death see above.

this game has open world pvp starting at lvl 45 but you are still kinda protected from player killer system.

Sounds like the deaths will sting a bit so that's good then, helps immerse me more in the game.  Thanks for the replies everyone!
