First time venturing into the forbidden WoW forum and what do I find. the most pop topic is about Farming in WoW. Let's complain about the same thing that happens in everygame. But I do have to say. The end game grind sucks bad as it turns into a grind/farm for a weapon or armour with a 6 hour raid. I mean come on do you want ANYMORE of my time in one jump? Here, have my life...
All MMO's have a grind where you farm something. But at Wow's endgame where this guy most likely ment, the grind is just sad. all you can do is raid every 6 hours or Grief people. That is literally it.
Plus you guys got a 'uber' community unlike any other, EVER. Good luck to you not losing intelligence trying to read their posts.

Sadly there isn't any plenty of things to do outside what you mentioned, it's only farming for ore or faction...that's it, and you do both for items.
the way blizzard made farming and repeatative things is quite boring to an un-imaginable degree, they could have done better, farming exists in every game, repeating exists in every game, but imo, it's the worste ever in WoW, i've never seen a worse farming ( for anything ) system more than WoW and it's a fact.
the only other thing to do is help newbies, but seriously, if i spend my lifetime helping noobs whom then i see have better items than me and grab at me about them, pisses me off alot.
The realization at lvl 40 that i will be farming in instances the whole game especialy end game KILLED it for me. I think i Owned myself with buying this game but it was fun anyways up to lvl 40.
i'v been playing wow for tow years and i have to say that most farmer are working hard to earn, in fact they pay for 24h a day in game and they don't make trouble.
I forgot to mention one more thing...you can't solo farm unless you grinding non elites in winterspring or EPL/WPL....it is mostly group farm or guild farm ...reputation, honor etc. They made all these status bars so you can see how far you are away from the next level. Every good item is bind on picked up so you must grind endlessly to get your items and you can't grind alone. You need to grind with your guild. It is like a drill. Do the same thing every week and saying "grats" to whoever in your guild wins a BOP item and feel rewarded when you win an item from endless grinding. These items make you stronger in BG. You see....it is not your skill, it is the items that makes you good. You can say how leet you are but the truth is you are not leet, only your items are helping you become leet. Your arcane power + dmg gear, trinkets make your mage stronger and hit harder than those mooncloth equipped casters. Your time farming for these items pay off though...because you can finally be equivalent to a level 76 and pwning level 60s. You call this balanced? Maybe epic gear and blue-equipped players should play in different BGs. If you disagree, you need to learn2play your class. You want to know why they add BG into the game? Because they want to satisfy people who's into PVP and to make people blind to see the disgusting farming and grinding you have to do in the game. People wait like idiots to join BG seems retarded to me. You have to know one thing... Almost every single player in WOW will spend time waiting for BG. Conclusion: BG provides relief for all your burns outs from grinding. I say people who farm + BG in a single day means WOW is basically their only life. Why? Farming makes the game your life. So to you farmers who are farming for rep, honor, items... the game is in you... your life is WOW.
