its those bastards afraid to attack you and instead of attacking you they kill your horse....  

Actually i think they should put a big Karma pennalty on playerhorse killers..

    When people kill my mount in AA, it breaks my heart totally. I keep yelling : kill me but let my horse go!! But nope, they just kill my horsie!!! Assholes!!!

    Don't matter how much you bash WOW world pvp but WOW did u the good way ....

    World PVP never was about skill or anything else....it's about stupid gank by few skill less no lifers

    and same I've seen in all World Pvp game.... just plain stupid
    By the way this is reason why I quit on Ark survival and it's stupid tamable dinos ....game is much much more interesting without taames but oh well

    BDO will end up as all WORD PVP games bad ...
    this also was in allods when 2 3 burst dpsers were wiping every one entering questing zone
    and imagine this going on for 10 hours....

    Guys when u talk about world PVP you forget sick human factor ...and some gamers are truly some sick no life bastards

    I think it's an interesting mechanic for the game to have, but it's kind of a shame that the horses / donkeys and other mounts [yet to be added] make no effort to run away when attacked.

    Old saying in Eve Online comes to mind, when it comes to pvp, don't fly what you can't afford to lose. So if you can't afford to lose your horse in combat, don't use it in combat.

    We're not talking combat. You park your horse at an npc camp where you're grinding. When you come back it's dead.

    Grouping up with a buddy in ArcheAge doing some exp grinding, another group strolls in to kill us, their mounts were always the first targets. Need to make them pay that silver to rez the mounts! That will teach them for killing us.

    P.S. obviously they were higher level, otherwise they wouldn't have attacked.

    What is the deal with recovering your dead mount?  How much does it cost?

    Someone mentioned in another thread that wild-tamed horses die permanently.  Is that true?  If so, what about horses you bred?

    And I spend a good amount of time saving other's horses from mobs while they are "parked".

    I don't believe horses die "permanently". Don't you just go to the stable and pay to "reinstate them"?

    I've seen that some have lifespans and lives. So I think it depends on the horse. My quest donkey and package horse both have unlimited lifespans so I think those can always be brought back. I'm thinking maybe tamed and breed horses might be different. I haven't tried out this mechanic yet though to know for sure.

    or better yet turn around and kick the offending griefer in the chops
    i'd like to have a big ol' tank of a red horse who could give these kids a run for their money
    then again i always stow mine in a stable if i can, i can't stand that people leave their horses anywhere and everywhere, makes the towns look ugly

    And this is why in the American Old West it was a hangin' offense to kill or steal a mans horse. Not sure but I think in Australia also.

    The guy that mentioned it said that wild horses die permanently, but horses that came with packages can be revived.  Still not sure if this is true or what.

    Or maybe it's about time we get a game with an open world system like Archeage and Black Desert have to offer but without the tedious and for me personally not fun open pvp.

    It's not like we got a choice since there is no new mmo like that to play with such depth in the world and stuff to do before reaching endgame.

    I think it's cool that your horse can be killed. Would it annoy me if someone killed my horse? Yeah, but that's okay. BDO is a PVP sandbox. I know what I'm signing up for. It's good to have villains making people mad. Look at the Goons in EVE. Say what you will, but without the Goons/villains the game wouldn't be as fun.

    Of course, if you're the type who is only interested in PVE, I can see how you would think otherwise.
