So I will state I am Talrune there on forums...usually great discussions. Though at head start I have brought up issues with Jouska as his/her role as the CM. Very lacking in response even with the main part of the site which really only mentions maintenance and or that compensation issue.
Guess I am getting old but almost a month after launch still nothing from the CM(though he has said he spread thin on tasks which means they(pearl abyss) does not have some one dedicated to the community for the Community Manager Role
Forums sorta speak to that.
Just odd to me...guess I am confused.

Several people still unable to play since head start, have since been banned because of rampant account security issues, or having not been given their pre-order items. It's unacceptable, by any measure; I've never seen any game with such little care for customers or its fanbase. It might be different in KR, but the NA/EU market won't tolerate having no customer support of any kind.
While I absolutely love the game, I have no choice but to take the issue up with my CC company at this point; 8 days is enough time to at least warrant a response, even if automated. If they want to reach out and expand their playerbase, lacking any sort of customer support or community involvement in NA/EU is not the way to do it.
(EDIT: If you want to see how secure BDO is or how much effort they put into customer support/moderation, look no further than the official forums. It's absolutely full of bot spam. Their account security is trash (no authenticator) and they don't even care about keeping their forum free of gold seller spam. I don't think I've ever seen such a high-quality game lacking such basic customer support.)
They certainly aren't as active as the CMs at games like ESO, but with so much stupidity on the forums I don't really blame them.
That being said, I like that BnS has a weekly livestream. At least it gives people a sense that they can vent at the Devs even though they never really say anything important.

An open letter really isn't much. Anyone can do that. You would be surprised what a well written resume would do. You would also be surprised how many bad resumes there are out there.
