The Landmark forum has a new post that should cheer up players mourning the loss of EverQuest Next. A new update is planned that will allow players to create and add characters to claims in order to tell epic stories, participate in adventures, combat or dungeon delving.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I shouldn't be surprised, these guys are trying to rehash old content ideas to generate cash flow with out doing any work or very little work.First splitting H1z1 in two was a complete joke, that is not even good enough to call it one game let alone two lmao.
I swear Smedley has to still be there churning up these idea.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
This is more along the lines of "we have a pile of stuff left from EQ;N so let´s put it to good use. That way not all the money was wasted." After all if you have working systems why not put them to good use.
This have been a good conversation
AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

I could care less what they do with Landmark. The toolkit to make EQN is NOT why I supported it's development.
Unless something changes, props are currently created with materials and chosen from a palette in the UI. You are not required to carry the props around in your inventory.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

EQ3 please, never like EQN or the idea of it anyway. Good news to me.
So yep, I wouldn't say this qualifies as "tell epic stories, participate in adventures", or something similar to either Foundries, in its current form.
If there will be a plot system, NPC interaction / convo mechanics, operable items and trigger functions (more elaborate than the simple "kill da monsta"), etc., then it will be a story-telling tool indeed.
Anyways, a nice direction, haven't played Landmark since months, but I'll check back maybe, Dungeon Keeper was cool.
Damn, I should start making MMOs this waya s well. Deliver a half baked product, let players add content and get paid very well for it!
